If he feels like it. Should play about 6 hours a week.
Better Option would be Jack Riewoldt.

Leroy Jetta plays more up the field than Jacky Riewoldt and they both will get almost the same amount as games, Leroy may even get a few more as well...

Not as confident on my cheapies this year but I just had a quick look at my starting team from last year - I realise prices have increased a bit this year, but in 2007:
Kosi < $140k
Adcock < $160k
Wow!
I find DT more difficult this year than last - probably because I am reading this board this year hehehe.

Do you think he will get a fair few games EARLY on?
Knighta has said he is one of 4 blokes to step into hirds shoes
have u got him?

One point to consider with SJ or any other player who has a history of injury is the impact on their "effective score" for being in your team.

Example -

This year, if SJ averages 95 ppw (last years average) but misses 8 games as he has averaged over the past 5 years, you will need to play a rookie in his place for those matches. Say the rookie averages 40 ppw the result would be as follows:-

SJ - 14 games @ 95 = 1330 points
Rookie - 8 games @ 40 ppw = 320 points
Total = 1650 points / 22 weeks = 75 average

Therefore you are paying 400+ for a player who may be worth 320K if his injury history continues. If he missed 4 games his "effective price" would be approx 360K.

In summary, durability needs to be seriously considered particularly with players you are going to hold for 22 weeks.

I don't have him in my side, but he is one to consider as one of your last forwards imo, as he has got some potential jam packed inside of him....
He will play most games this year I can assure you that, he has pace, skills and age on his side, and Knighta loves these types of kids.. (as he has stated numerous times)

He should be playing Round 1.
Yes i have him in my team i reckon he will average better then Thompson.

My goodness:rolleyes:

its unliklely but its possible ever so little though ill give him 10% of getting 110+. He has more talent and abillity than i have seen in any1 be4. With the hawks forwards spreading the workload of good defenders he may go alot better this season. If teams play spare man or 2 on buddy than he will struggle for sure and some1 will at the other end of the ground will love it by himself?

Wtf are you on about

theres 24 better footballers at essendon in which are ahead of him. Lovett may play closer to goal and more at of goal square and be used to run ppl down taking the role of Jetta

Crebran know all dont mess with him hes in div se7en and came top 200 last year. However i feel SJ is not overpriced and could be a godd roughie as many will feel this and i feel he can weave magic and score over 100 on a consistant basis. Franklin can also do the same and you cant hide the fact that LBF can avg more than 115 this year. Sure its big but this kid has everything.

??????????

I can only assume this was a typing error.

Lovett & Winderlich are gonna miss the first couple of rounds, still don't think Jetta can fit in ??

im starting to select Chapman for my DT as he is a big scorer. If he can play 18 games whilst avg 100+ than ill take that. Is he ready and fit for round 1

So I take it you'll be selecting Franklin as your captain this year RT?

That's a really good point 54, but are you certain there aren't other factors in play? For example, was Steve Johnson a certain starter 5 years ago, or was he in and out of the team? The reason he missed those games is as important in itself as the fact that he missed them.

Wouldn't know, but the point is more around player durability no matter who the player is. Burton, Kosi or anyone else with an injury history. Particularly at the top end, if they miss games, they really sting.

Eg- Dean Cox effective average last year was around 90, the same as Jeff White, because of the games missed by Cox.

No franklin probs wont be in my team however he may be in 1 team just becoz he can do the unthinkable!!!

he may be a good captain for round1 as demons will have miller/frawley as and some other log in defence.

the thing is you could start with SJ as he looks to play at least first few games 5 or 6 at least unless injury and then if he is out for weeks then just downgrade to a Lucas. save money and earn more points sure its 1 trade but we have 20 of them.

and 4-6 are used for injurys and 14-16 are used for upgrades to upgrade 8 players from mid prices to premiums.

Yeah, I know what you mean 54, these things are just impossible to predict, I think avoiding the Kosis and the Johnsons may make your team a little too "safe", for lack of a better term.

Geez, the guy is gonna average 115 and he still isn't worthy of the captaincy? You're gonna romp it in big time RT .

Have made the final adjustments to my team, and effectively have 5 first year players starting for Round 1 (thanks to Chaplin being injured). Massive risk that could put me through a lot of short term pain, but I think it's worth it overall. Perhaps I need to find a way to fit Franklin in and make him captain :D.

I dare you to come back in round 18 and say this.

Against the rules to have more then 1 team??
