Gram and Bird ruining an ok night. No chance Birdy will play again this year. Mattner also didn't get involved enough and i personally think he is a terrible footballer and i'm not surprised crows traded.
Looking ahead to next week... any Eagles midfielders struggling so that J Mac could make a return to the fold? Am regretting starting Pav as my Captain more and more as each minute passes and Big Cox's score rises

Kirk and Hayes went at it and cancelled each other out. Poor kicking cost pts for all the fwds and mids. King was good, Goodes his usual slow start, Hall will improve, Riewoldt is just a bloody star. OKeefe and Bolton had good games too. The whole paddock looked like they;d fall over by 3/4 time.
Jack and Geary...gonna be 100000 eyes on them next week for an early pluck. Bird looked nervous and had a shocker but Roos will persist. He's better than that and cant be expected to have a cracker first up. Charlie Gardiner continues to get plenty of it and looks damn fit.

Hall and Bird ruined my night for DT...though should know never to rely on 1st gamers...my bad. Hall was a mistake though. i normally would not pick him, but i was misguided by his good pre-season form, because pre-season is about playing against other 1st gamers.

Bird went off with an injury in the last quarter didnt he? Geary showed 10 times more than him. can't see armitage getting a game now especially considering l.fisher and fiora were emergencies

Woeful..hardly even involved.
Bloody tough game and both backlines kept the pressure on and very few easy shots at goal. mattner looked scratchy and glad i didnt buy him.
Kennelly on the other flank just looked a class above. Hudgton had a damn good game on Hall who does look a lot freer that last yr but still dropped a cpl of absolute sitters.

12 (13 including Cox twice) down sitting mid 1100's not many big names to play in the last 3 games but if I can pull 650-700 from them I'll be pleased, considering I have 6 players with sub 60 point games. Fan Footy projects high 1800's. Have to wait and see now. BTW thank God for Big Cox.
One thing I'm annoyed at was having B.Jones right up until Thursday morning and then deciding to go with Newman instead, still only Round 1.
