Fairly happy, bit of a bugger picking Bird ahead of Jack for my last bench spot ,then also picking Bird over Geary to start. Anyway, very happy with Priddis and Cox captain. Bradshaw is really frustrating considering 42 of his points came in the third term. Hopefully 1850+

He made up for the terrible performance by Lecca. 5 touches for 25 - could've been worse perhaps.
TJ went alright. About par I guess.

Nicoski is a-bit different
1. Coming back from injury
2. Did pretty good b4 injury
2. Cheaper (i think)
3. Isn't a complete DUD!
4. Actually has alot of potential in a gr8 ball sharing side

Watch out for the Nicoski bandwagon. It's gonna be Brennan '07 all over again!

The difference between those 2 players is there style of play. I would assume Nicoski's style of play has been noted to suit Dream Team in the past and is not a flashy player like Brennan. Having said that, there will be huge hype around Nicoski now, so the pressure is on him to perform. I doubt ill consider him.

Yeah he's had a hard knock and looked in pain coming off late.

Basically had a nervous horror 1st game. Might be a straight swap for Jack coming up...looked strong. Hopefully Freo's loss may sponsor Harvey to dump Peake or McAnus and give Palmer a run too.

I wouldnt rush into a trade like that..If you take away his first half, Bradshaw scored pretty solidly. Realistically i dont think you could have asked for too much more than 56 for his first game coming back. Plus it was against quality opposition at Subiaco. He scored 42 points in one quarter. That shows what he can do.

With 3 rookies in Geary, Bird and Palmer I'm in a decent position.

If Bird goes Geary steps into starting line up and Palmer takes number 1 emergency role while I'll be patient with Bird.

Only concern is Hartlett. Any knowledge on how far away Pfeiffer is from cracking into the Blues lineup?

Cox!

Saves me from a disaster score. Stupid virtualsports killed me (had Edwards emg for backline and it changed to Pfeiffer), so i'm playing one man down. S. Johnson, Mackie and Bowden let me down.

Can people stop sooking 'oh i had Mundy/Jones/Nicoski but i traded him out'. Jeez, it's round 1. Priddis got 36 in his 1st game last year and ended up averaging low 90's.

Barlow will probably play next week, if not i'll trade in Nicoski. If Barlow does play, i'll keep him for a week and trade him prior to price fluctuations depending on how he and Nicoski go.

Yeah, I'm basically thinking along the same lines RE: Barlow.
