only played 67 minutes yet got 87..
very happy with that, looks in for a good season

Was wanting on this trade:

Currently I have around 60K and am wanting to trade Hartlett and Fevola for Brett Jones and Bradshaw (not sure I could fit him in though, miss by 10k) or some other forward.

I know I shouldn't be biased, but as a Saints supporter, I don't think Fevola is going to kick many against us and he is prone to frees against. Plus, Hartlett should be out for a few.

I wouldn't sacrifice 2 trades on 1 weeks results or expectations.

usually not best to base trades on one week...i think fev should be in for a reasonable year but who knows really

but if u need to trade out hartlett to get a starter u could direct swap for jake edwards(i think he is a back) therefore only using one trade

Cheers guys, on second thought, it does look like I'm wasting some trades, should keep them for injuries or upgrading players.

In my back benches, I've got Scott Thompson and Harry Taylor. I think I'll start Scott Thompson, but I really need Taylor to be playing next week as my emergency. Anyone think Taylor will be playing next week, he was first emergency this week, and Hunt should be out, so the spot should be his.
Or else I'll just trade Hartlett out for some other defender under 160K. Not sure about Edwards, I don't think he will get many games, but dunno who else really.

Kieren Jack and Captain Cox brilliant and I expected the sub 50 scores from the rookies just not a 16.

they play adelaide next week and plz let me know if cox wont score more than 110 next week

i dont really think taylor will be able to get a constant spot in the geelong team

I can't quite understand why everyone is so keen to get rid of Hartlett already.

Has he even been reported yet?

Things going in his favour:

1) He's green, it'll be his first offence so with the current system it will probably be downgraded to a reprimand and some points towards his next appearance.

2) There was poor vision of it.

3) If the tribunal investigates and interviews Howat he's going to say "Nah mate it's all good. It was a complete accident."

4) Its the AFL tribunal!! You could probably count on both hands how many times they've handed down a verdict you've expected.

In all honesty I reckon one week maybe two as the absolute worst case scenario. What a waste of a trade..

Let me just put it this way, I have 2 zero's in my defence this week. I got screwed with lockdown. I had planned to make some changes at about 1 pm after a board meeting. Meeting went to 4...

Oh well, I will be the chaser this year, rather than the chased...
