I haven't finished yet but the team is roughly looking like


Spurr Hamling Pearce

Hill McGovern Laird

Shiel Bont Gaff

Walters Hogan Bennell

Markov McCarthy Kersten

Clarke Fyfe Cripps

Kelly Buntine Pick 5 Pick 6

Clarke is pretty good on this, but I'll probably need another ruck.
Might do Lobb for Kersten, bet they'd go for it.
Would like to get Gawn in some how as well

Edit - Spurr, Crozier, Pick 23 out, Gawn, Wilson, Lobb, 44 in.

It feels that they spent most of their time and money making sure that when a player marks the ball the guy standing the Mark points no where near it like the do in actual afl oh and when a free kick is oaid having the ump say "I don't want to hear it" almost pathetic really
 
simmed first season: brisbane top of the ladder
crows still won the flag = accurate
headed to trade period see if I could help the blues made some good deals I feel
Armfield and Rowe for Dustin Martin accepted by the tigers
Ed curnow Liam Jones Jaksch and Lamb for Rance also accepted

Decided to see if I could get some value from the Cats
Pick 9 Dale Thomas and Kerridge for Dangerfield accepted.

This game should be subject to a nationwide recall

They put their time and money in weird places. Adding in gaudy camera flashes, strange grunts and moans, and a bunch of useless cutscenes while there's still so much lacking in more vital areas of the game.

is this on the highest management difficulty? I imagine this could make an impact.

Even if it is, I'm probably going to be fairly realistic and not go through with a bonkers trade even if I can get it.
 
Enjoying the game so far although the more I play the same things annoy me.

Handballing through congestion can look pretty slick most the time. Annoying when you draw the man and get caught throwing though, would look so much better and more fluent if most those calls were play on.

Also is there a reason every single CPU player goes full Daniher in front or goal? Annoying because I've put the difficulty up to hard but opposition still miss 15m out.

I'd love to know how you can link them, but at the moment I've just been delisting the generic ones and recruiting weirdo's customs, although it doesn't even say the user who uploaded them so I've had the thread up on my computer, lots of improvement needed in regards to the fanhub.

Best commentary line I've heard is in Madden 17 when it went to half time and one of the commentators said "Coming up Bill's (or whatever his name was) half-time report".... Yep, best commentary ever in that game. Even changes year after year adding in your drafted players.

Played a game as a team and then as a player (the Bont) last night and had fun. Question to anyone who has played in 'pro' mode, when you get benched, can you simulate until you come back on or does it just sim the remainder of the game?

I clicked sim last night and it simmed to the end of the game which I don't mind but surely there's an option to sim until you come back on?

There isn't. If you want to come back on, you have to watch the game until the AI hopefully subs you back on at some point. If you sim the match, it'll sim the whole game.

This is because WW lifted this from their RU game where you wouldn't be able to come back on after being subbed off, so you could either watch your team play the remainder of the game or sim to the end. The difference here is that if you watch the game, you will eventually be brought back on. I'm guessing they found it too difficult to implement simming portions of the game, but they should have changed the options on that screen because it will frustrate a lot of people.

Priddis is only about 3 acceleration and 2 speed behind Jetta, lost my shit when I saw Priddis 89 acceleration. Nic Nat gets run down the second he gets the ball, even with space. I find they've made the ball carrier far too slow once you have any sort of separation, as though they want you to get dragged back to the pack.

If you are overly critical, no. If you play games to enjoy them, or more to the point if you play sports games because you like the sports, I say yes.

This sport is ridiculously hard to replicate by the looks of it through gaming, because very few sports have the field coverage and variation in plays we do.

[I'm on PS4] it should ask you to download a patch to use online features when you boot up the game, it downloads in the background if you want to start the game before its done, so you might need to check your downloads folder.
 
Only played a little bit so far. What's annoying is if you sort the list of current players you want to edit by rating and then click on one of the players to edit their attributes, it chooses the wrong player.

Eg. Ben Stratton is on top of the Hawks list by default. If I sort the list by player rating and then go to edit Rioli, it will edit Ben Stratton by default. A minor glitch but it fathoms me how they didn't notice it.
