Anyone noticed the commentary whenever a player kicks a goal or is on the play they get the names wrong? Happening every game for me ... "Atley kicks his second" and it's Ben Brown o_O

Yes, 90% of the time they're announcing the wrong player

Using the right stick becomes impossible on Legend, the game turns into a messy tacklefest where the AI is able to fire off a handball/kick from anywhere with precision. Almost downright cheating, would be if it wasn't still possible to win.

Been sitting on the fence, but I think I'll definitely be returning it this weekend. Don't enjoy having to play on medium to get the best experience against the AI, and then proceeding to win by 150+.

Im editing a roster to draw out differences. Like every sports game, they are too similar. Im focusing on reducing marking across the board, tagging (hopefully creating less 1 on 1s), endurance and kicking ability. I played a game last night and it felt good not being able to chase down blokes with Swallow or Goldstein, and seeing Sam Gibson put it on the full. Ill play against the AI later tonight.

I see some good core mechanics in place. As an absolute priority, modern tactics must be included. It is not a 1 on 1 sport anymore. Let us play 1-3 loose men, let us bring our forwards up to the wing and get goals over the back etc. This would be huge.
you're right mate, we just need to build on from this, i reckon in future games they will make more complex tactics or at least a different variety, maybe they decided for this game to make it simple and they will improve on that. changing the player stats is good too, obviously like with many sports games some ratings are way off

If anyone here is psn yourmumscousin very poor form quitting after being 4 goals down.

Don't get the result either which is shit

How are your surprised with a name like that?

You say this like it's guaranteed there will even be another game. It took WW 4 years between AFL Live 2 and Evolution. Depending on how this game sells and how many copies get returned I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see another AFL game for a loooooooong time.

Also, let's be honest; the ship has long sailed on AFL games ever "evolving". Look at Evolution and look at AFL 2004. They are almost identical, down to the tactic options. The main differences between them are that the PS2 games had far better features and actually functioned properly.

When you can actually spoil/mark the ball the game feels really good but while that bullshit keepy off stuff goes on just feels like we're back 10 years. Interchange needs a massive fix already the campaigners never change??

Why would I keep playing if I was losing?

This is going back in the morning....

Too many bugs I want to support the devs but this is ridiculous!

Have you traded him to Richmond yet in career mode in anticipation of season 2018 ?

Traded him for Dusty and then he did his spinal cord so I marginally won the trade

I'm really glad people are able to find some fun in this game.

I see moments of greatness but they are so few and far between. I played a crap load of online multiplayer tonight and it's shocking (and I won just about every game). Seems like this is probably a richer single player experience than AFL Live 1, but a much worse online experience. Which probably boils down to having way more content than AFL Live 1, but much worse core gameplay.

Think I'll be returning this one, doesn't quite suit me as well as Live 1 did. I will admit though, the AI is much improved over Live 1 which was surprising.
