Nathan Jones looks good, pretty hard to stuff up a bloke when all he seems to do is pose with his arms crossing looking faux-tough. Tricked the AFL world into thinking he's a great player/awesome captain so I guess it works.

Cotchin, Heppell, and Fyfe look oh so bad.

It's a weird photo in general, in a way it actually doesn't look like a serious AFL game. The characters all look rounded and the faces generally seem like an NBA Jam-ified version of what they actually should. In some ways maybe it would be easier to just put out a half-serious footy game with good mini games you can play on the piss at home during half time, or maybe just a simplified 10 v 10 version of the game or something. People have brought this up before but it could be the trick.

Game gon b shit. Even the weird, stalled roll out of this is amateur. Any decent publisher would have been in cahoots with the AFL ages ago and would have gotten everything ticked off prior to announcement, so they can actually track a marketing campaign that's sensical, close, and follows a normal timeline. The fact this'll probably be out during the bye round is lunacy – how hard is it to realise the peak of excitement is probably, you know, round one?

Nice clear photo Quivorir, how did you do it? Anyway, if you zoom in really close on Fyfe it actually looks like they have done a mistake for the photo where his face seems to be sliced with different players appearances. The left side of his face (our left) looks realistic but then it sort of cuts off. Can other people see this or is it just me? You really have to zoom in but only on quivorir's post because its clearer.
