Off-topic: The first reaction video I was exposed to was 2 girls 1 cup...
Just going to be interesting to see how that works. It's usually not possible to touch umpires, so I don't know how they determine when you'll make contact. I hope you don't inadvertently run into one and get suspended for 20 weeks for rough conduct with an umpire.

For those hoping for the street date to be broken, don't get your hopes up.
It would appear that only 'specialist' retailers are getting copies of AFL Evolution, not any chain department stores or small time 'mum and pops' businesses. It's typically the latter two that break street date, either due to lack of knowledge on the product (thus they sell it if someone asks for it and its sitting out back), or because they just don't care and run the risk of punishment for extra business.
There's even stories that EB or JB employees would walk into a store like Big W, disguised as a customer, with a receipt showing they sold the game early. This would then cause Big W to sell them a copy early, which is then taken back to EB and shown to head office like "look what Big W did!!", which then allowed this EB to sell the game early 'in response'.
Regardless of whether these stores get duped or sell it by their own accord, if they're not getting it, then we aren't buying it early.

I thought it was awesome as well but I think it's just going to be something the Ai get suspended for in games where your team isn't involved

I hate to put a damper on it, but I find it hard to believe that the AFL would support a game that encourages reportable offences. I remember when AFL Live 1 was being developed that Big Ant said that it was not tollerated at all. So whilst the list was published a few pages back I can't see the AFL approving it at all - particularly to the younger market of kids who play the game at Auskick and Junior levels.
Calling it - fake news!

Yeah, I recall Ross saying that, and I think it unlikely that they would allow umpire incidents to be included. There must be reportable offences in the game, however, because they are advertising it as a part of career mode.

Why wouldn't other stores be stocking it? I would have thought EB Games and JB Hifi are just the only ones being promoted. Not that they're exclusive.
