It's hard to say what the game actually is. It looks like an imitation of Live 1, but in many ways it looks and plays like a successor to Live 2. I never could have imagined 6 years ago at Live 1's release, we'd only now be on the edge of possibly getting a game that may only rival it.
I get the impression it's going to be AFL 2 wearing an AFL 1 costume.

Lack of actual gameplay 3 days out is a little concerning.
It's the Tru Blu way. They do it with all of their other games.

Between you and me and everyone else, I think I get the impression that Tru Blu really suck at marketing their games. Jeez! What a shock! I couldn't tell.

All I know for sure after this saga is that my hatred of TruBlu's contemptible method of rolling out games has been justified yet again.

The AFL has a major say in the marketing of the game. I'm sure if it was all left up to WW they would've given us so much more to look at. I'm confident that this game will be good.

I am a little concerned with the lack of any real gameplay
Although that IS TruBlu's way

Can you imagine what it must be like to be WW with the AFL on one side and TruBlu (who are the actual license holders lets not forget) on the other?
Maddening!!

I'm sure everyone that was here can remember Ross from
BigAnt being barely able to contain his frustration at times during Live1.

Okay, just an attempt to deflect from any early release claims, what current player would you use for Be A Pro mode that doesnt play for your prefered team?

Fyfe for me. One season at Dockers then I'd like to get him to go to a team like Carlton or Collingwood, make it a challenge!
Buddy. I'll probably request a trade back to Hawthorn (if you can do that), put it on easy mode and then tear it up

I know this a small nuisance but I really hate the flashing cameras particularly during a day game in the crowd. This just doesn't happen and really reflects a bit of missed attention to detail which I really hope doesn't seep into other areas. I just don't get why anyone who worked on this game thought this was a good idea. It just reeks of amateurish and if it's an AFL driven thing to give the game more gloss it looks shit. Get rid of it.

You're right, it does look shite.

The actual build up and hunt to find this game early is gonna prove to be way more exciting then the actual game . Come Friday night I feel this forum is going to implode. We r halfway through the week and not a whimper from WW...almost feels like they've done there part , tried to market this game on the decent player models and graphics , but once gameplay has been spoiled through the north video they've left a message here and bolted for the hills lol ... I do hope I am wrong tho

The funny thing with the camera flashes is it's not an oversight, ie. a feature that's been left out. They actually sat down and discussed features that needed to be in this game, and all agreed that it needed camera flashes for both day and night games, despite camera flashes being a long finished phenomenon.

Plus I'm assuming that Tru Blu would've had to given North the approval before they posted the video (since it's copyrighted) which just shows they have no idea what they're doing

Correct, They should show the crowd taking instagram photos of themselves showing everyone how they are at the footy, instead of actually watching the footy.
