Are we able to trade between week 2 and 3 of the finals?

Say if I've got Burgoyne in my team, it would be stupid to keep him there cause he'd get zero this week...Or does it make you keep all players in there? Because I've gone and cleaned out all the Port and Geelong players, any light on this would be greatly appreciated:thumbsu:

You can pick a whole new team.

How did you think it worked?

'naa i scored 1100pts this week, pretty good considering i was 11 players down'

That definitely is the highest scoring side possible, just ran it through an optimization program. Just shows how much room there is for everyone to catch up in a particular round.

Not taking into account the doubling of scores for week 2, I think that the weekly winner will be getting just over 2000, and anyone scraping past 1900 should be very pleased. What does everyone think the winning score will be?

Just quickly running through an early team for week 2, it will certainly be harder to pull in big scores.

With just 2 games to pick 22 players from, Id say anything over 2000 would be a near miracle.

Not with the doubling of scores it won't.

That's why week one is near irrelevant. If you kept within 200-300 points of the leader your still in with a real chance.

I think the post above mine was referring to scores before they were doubled.

The doubling of points will be somewhat negated by how similar teams will be this week though. I agree with previous posts that week 3 of the finals will be the most crucial, as will captain choice from here on in.

i just said to roy that the double points can hurt you more than help you... ie. if you nail good players, all well and good, but if you have just those few stinkers, then you can kiss it goodbye...

our teams are again going to be similar.. its those 'duds' that can hurt us.. its being 'lucky' enough to pick the right ones!
