Wit the lack of choice with players, is anyone else taking the gamble on clement?

Probably not, once again the forwards are very hard to pick and at the moment, I'm loading up with Collingwood players there. Don't have the freedom to pick another backman apart from Shaw.

I'm thinking the same as you mate. Better West Coast backs to choose, and probably about 5 Collingwood forwards I would seriously consider.

Anyone else loading up with Hawks centres?

Not with the doubling of scores it won't.

That's why week one is near irrelevant. If you kept within 200-300 points of the leader your still in with a real chance.

i tend to disagree

chances are most people with have very similar teams and therefore the differences in scores will be minimal so it will be hard to make up ground

but for my sake i hope you turn out right cos i am about 250 off lead

I've got a couple, but WC vs Collingwood games also tend to produce high fantasy scores for the centres. So I'll have a couple of Pies and probably 1 or 2 Eagles in there too.

Yea, Hawks don't really have many great scoring players outside of centres (except maybe Franklin and Birchall), which is the main reason I loaded up on them.

What about in week 3 or 4 if there was a situation like Ablett/Corey this week. The difference will be even bigger with captain scores too so 250 could be made up over the next three weeks

My forwards arent too bad, but my backline is scary to look at. To get above 1900 would need a minor miracle.

Anyone game enough to post their side? :D

I think you are right in thinking that you could catch the current leader in the remaining rounds but to think that you will catch everyone in between you and the leader is a little fanciful. Each of them will need to have a slip-up while you don't. I would think only the top 100 or so have a shot unless people have some major risk taking pay off for them.

Yeah why not, I'm only in it for a bit of fun:

Nice effort Madness. I've only got three different players to your team.
Heres a question for everyone:
Dale Thomas or Sean Rusling?

As I said previously, I'm loading up on Collingwood players and have both.

As far as the two teams posted so far, I have 4 different from both and I am going with a fairly safe team (not much of a risk taker). The selection information for next week will be a bit laughable, I'd think that some players will have close to 100% of teams having them.

Didnt take much note on the weekend, but with Cousins, Judd and Kerr all but gone, does Hurn get a run in the eagles middle? Im looking for center players who are listed as forwards/backs.

This is mine as it stands:

Not finalised yet. Thinking about putting Crawfs back in, but he has always struggled under Rawlings tag. Im unsure about Rusling too, but he has been in pretty good form of late.

We are looking for some committed players to be part of this fantasy AFL draft. The game requires you to be participating between 6:00 pm and 9:30 pm nightly. If you can’t make these times on the odd occasion you can always send someone a list of players who you would like to pick up. If you are committed to this game sign up here.

If you are not going to be committed don’t bother joining up.

Too much of a risk going without Cox?

Not really, if your other players are good. Fraser has a good record against WC, but has been out of form of late. I'm guessing if you don't take Cox then you'll have Fraser and McIntosh?

Waters. He ran with Chad Cornes on Friday night. Will be on the ball again this week. Hurn may also have a run in the middle, but will likely play most of the game off half-back. Depending on how much time he gets on the ball, he could be a good one. Embley is another.
