Preordered after work today.

Plan is to pick it up next Thursday after work, head off to the Gabba to see us beat the Saints, then go game and play for the entirety of the easter break.

Not sure what the missus will think about that, but I'll cross that bridge at the time. :cool:

My mates wife and my wife just discovered the reason that my mate and I are hanging out the Easter weekend. They are not impressed!

I'm spending all the most I would use on embarrassing myself at The Gabba!

Cut you a deal TBD, Saints win I verse you as Brisbane first. Brisbane wins, I have to play you as a team of your choice :D

Like to say that I was at JB Bourke St yesterday, I was one of the first that arrived there. Had a go against Neil in the 2nd half and came from behind and won. Then he'd let me have a go by myself playing against the AI on professional (which I think if you compare to the previous games it'd be normal); I was Adelaide, unfortunately I lost both games by less than a goal :(

Then I played in a game as Geelong with a young fella (not sure if hes on BF) against I presume HBK and Census they were playing as West Coast; and we were trailing at 1/2 time by more than 2 goals. Then the momentum changed in the 2nd half as the Cats marched to beat the Weagles by 14 points; Selwood and Bartel starred.

Then I teamed with HBK as Fremantle against Richmond. As HBK said in the previous thread kicked a marvellous goal with SuperPav on the 1/2 time siren and took the game away from our opponents from there. Sandi and "Creepy" Crowley were the stars.

Then the last game was with a total noob, had no idea what he was doing and we got smashed by about 6 goals.

In closing, thanks to BigAnt Studios for all the hard work they've done over the past few years; hopefully the reward will be worth its wait in the coming days when AFL LIVE is released.

P.S. Most likely i'll be coming down on Friday to Collins St and hopefully I'll get a poster as well

HAHA sweet. I remember the Geelong match too, myself and Census were definitely cruising along and then all of a sudden you guys just started piling on the goals and getting players in all sorts of free room. It was genuinely like playing Geelong at that point, was ridiculously hard to try and get the ball back. We just couldn't do a thing right and all you guys could do was get space and time and everything was going to your man.

This has made me think of a question that I dont think has been answered. When you create a custom team, can you designate their home ground? For the Territory thunder example, could they list their home ground as TIO stadium and play 11 games there each year.

Okay, i've been sitting here reading these threads, and have finally come to a realisation. I've never been this excited over a game. The things i would do to have the game in my xbox is dispicable. so world please make this last week go as quick as possible.

Arghhh!! I can't believe you called me a POM!! LOL... I am an Aussie (hence why i want the game) and I am coming back in August but it'll be too late then! :D

But you're right, I will get tips on how to beat Ross... Excellent, I will sit here for the next few weeks watching this board and learn all the tricks and then become the Super player and beat everyone in the whole of Aus!! LOL...

Does anyone know if there's much customization when it comes to choosing/making a guernsey for your created teams?

Haha me too, it sounds kind of sad but every morning I wake up and the first thing that goes through my head is "X days until AFL Live!!"

I'm pretty excited for this game but nowhere near the most excited I've ever been.

I was so excited about Ocarina of Time's release on the N64 that I was practically nauseous for days beforehand. :eek:
