I do plan on doing that Swans Tatts, im an avid game (PC normally) and when im not at tafe or work thats what im doing, so it will be easy to play non stop 
I reckon with the jumper templates, you would probably be able to use all the AFL teams jumpers(bar maybe the gold coast) all the basic ones anyway and change colours plus there would probably some other ones as well, like the one at the end of the footy factory video.

I remember for sure that GWS' jumper was in it (or at least a VERY similar design) so I would imagine every other team's jumper would have to be in it. It's more or less all the real teams, some different (but not outrageous) designs, and then just choosing your colours.

A topic that hasnt really been discussed at all is the 'in-game sound effects'.
Whilst crowd noise from sports game to sports game remains quite similar, one thing i did notice whilst reviewing the videos was the great feature they've included where the crowd yells "balllllllllllllllllllllll".
It's not done for all tackles, however it is yelled out by the AI fans at the AI grounds to make the real life experience even better for us players.

I'm pretty excited for this game but nowhere near the most excited I've ever been.
I was so excited about Ocarina of Time's release on the N64 that I was practically nauseous for days beforehand.
Ocarina of Time is the best game ever and forever will be

The Giants jumper was definately an option, as were at least the home jumpers for all 17 other teams, as well as various other designs. I didn't get to have a particularly in depth look at all the options, but it seemed that the "other" designs are only available in a number of preset colour combinations, and I'm not sure whether or not you can alter the colours of the existing jumpers. Maybe someone who has had a better play around with it than me will be able to help out
My teams will hopefully wear a blue jumper with white side panels and a shark in the middle (like gold coasts home) the away will hopefully be white with a large blue version of the shark in the bottom right corner.
My second team will be black with red yellow and silver chevrons and a bulls head underneath the chevrons then just white with red yellow and black chevrons for away. Does anyone know if I could make these?

Had my first crack at AFL Live today. Played a few games as the Bulldogs against the wife. She picked a team at random based on the logo was a "Kitty!" her words not mine.
Low scoring affairs and she played a brutal style, injured Boyd and one other player I believe. Was down to two on the bench and the siren only saved me from losing.
I sucked at the PS3 controller however found the game very easy to pick up though hard to master type scenario.
Other thoughts were Lake plays just like the real thing seems to always win the contested Marks. Noticed Williams appeared in the ruck a few times, guessing it's his size and the auto bench doing it's thing?

Actually that price is incorrect. The RRP for MW2 is 89.95 and we currently have it for $69.95. Making the pre owned ones $64
You can do what you want with the money, provided you didn't trade that amount in. If you paid in cash, you can get whats left over back, put it towards another order, or buy something there and then
The "ön shelf" price match (where we actually state the price in store) where we match GAME is only in centres that have a GAME and an EB
Any EB store doing this, you will also get the pre order bonus with it for $98

I would say $89 would be the cheapest on the day. Big W, Target or Big W may pull their usual shenanigans where they do it for $79, but get 10 copies in.
I think someone stated in the last thread that their mates Big W is only getting 18 copies. So that is the only chance of a really low price. And i could be wrong, they may also do it at $88ish
Guess we'll see when next weeks catalogues arrive

On the odd occasion EB have done this, at least they go get another cover from out the back, not the one you pull from the shelf with wear & tear.
I've pre ordered ($20) and will likely just pay the $109 if that's the price. That extra few seconds to price match is precious game time & I'll get to keep the pre order bonus (which is so so).

I was watching a game where one team was using the Bulldogs and Lake seemed to either take the mark or make the spoil in a contest EVERY time.

How much trouble can your average EB staffer get in from breaking a street date?
How hard would it be to say, slip the bloke behind the counter a $50 or hell even 10 people slip him a fiver or tenner for him to release it early. I know the bribing thing is illegal for him to take the cash (at least I'd assume it is) but for those of you that are absoutely hurting to own this game, it would be a possibility no? All you'd need to know is, when EB/Game/JB have it in stock.

just wondering what people will be doing to try and make a career mode. like how they will be setting up there own drafts and then swaping players from team to team, has anyone given this any time

It would have been nice to at least have a random team generator in place of the career mode, that way we could run the generator before each season and have a completely different team of players, it would be like a lucky dip, you could get a bunch of star players or you could end up with a team of duds that you have to work harder with.

At this point, I'm going to put Fevola on Adelaide's list, and play out one season with the current squads as Collingwood. However, after this I think a team generator is a good idea as I am planning to just change all the teams around entirely and have another crack with the reformed Magpies. I still dont believe I'll be able to patiently sit there for about 2 hours drawing teams out of a hat and drafting players though ........
