Rundle Mall downstairs. I think that Trey guy was telling the truth because I pre ordered it last weekend at that EB's and paid in full it was
$99.95. Wish it was me who saw that guy with the receipt I would have snatched it to make sure. My best friend Rach is going down there soon to try to sweet talk this sus guy and see if she can get a copy. He seems like the perverted type that would fall for it.
 
In the video its showing jollys number in the ruck contest as number 2 did anyone else notice that?

this has most probly been asked, but i just can't be stuffed going through all millions of posts, i've read somewhere that you can create your own competitions, is this true and what does it include???...if that makes sense!!!

the funny thing is... most stores won't even ahve them in stock so even if they wanted they couldn't break street date.

I ASSUME The game will be sent to each stores respective Distribution Centres (Ie, there's a central EB DC for VIctoria. and all EB stores in vic get their stock from this DC) before they get to specific shops. so lots won't have them till sat.

so you're the bloke I was playing with Geelong against the lowly Port Adelaide outfit until I defected for across the border?
 
I just rang every game store within 100km of my place, none of them have even received stock yet, not to mention being told that if they break the release date they will get fined.

Don't know if I believe the fine bit.

One store told me they need to receive an e-mail from HQ to allow them to break the date scheduled. I think we'll be waiting until Wednesday, at the earliest.

hahaha the guy that told me about this forum said everyone was really high strung, just it seems pretty relaxed :) My experience when I worked at Game Traders Marion was HQ do give the go ahead via email with broken street dates, the person who has the copy early would need to prove it by photo of the disk with a receipt.

We would then be able to go for it, although from the time HQ get notification of a broken date, get an email out to the stores, this is usually a day process in itself.
Our 2IC of the store used to just give people the game when it arrived. Keep it in the store room until the "release date" but if anyone would ask, would just sell it to them. This happened on some major titles. His mates would come in and ask for it and it was theirs.

I think this is what happened today at EB's. Kinda felt sorry for Trey he got verbally bashed on FB when he was probably telling the truth.....poor schmuck

I'm pretty sure Ross said no sales figures can be disclosed. Including how many have been made, and pre-order numbers.
 
GCS taking on Freo and giving them an absolute run for their money. End of the match results...
GCS ended up winning by a good 44+ points with Brennan starring with 4 goals from about 10 disposals.

Early release will be OK only if Dick Smith will give me a copy or if I get my preorder deposit back. If not, hopefully no early release :)

Actually, only had to put 10% down, being $8, doesn't matter if I lost that.

In other words, yeah early release gets my approval.
