awk, so really we want them to break the date then eb will emmediatly after it without copping a fine!
Department stores are more likely to break the street date before EB as they are more likely to just throw the game on the shelf as soon as they get it, rather than understanding when the release date is and waiting until then.

was a good event. everyone had a few games as various teams. i saw every team except brisbane, melbourne and w bulldogs play. game looks really good. cant wait to get it doesnt matter what date

Glenno has found a shop selling the game, bought it and then jumped on internet and told everyone he has it. He has then refused to let anyone know where he got it from and plans on getting the store in the shit for breaking the released date? Meanwhile he is sitting back playing it a week early.

The street date isn't allowed to be broken until EB games have received their stock.

This is what annoys me. Glenno was quick to say how he thinks people should just be patient...easy to say when you've had Ross over for an AFL Live party and you get the game a week early.
I commend him on his work promoting the game and such, but I think this is really freakin' annoying.

With this game, that is rubbish. I couldnt care less who has the game, but some of the stuff coming out of glenno's mouth makes me cringe.

If you've followed the thread you'd be aware the enormous lengths Glenno's gone to, so that he can get as many preorders as possible, and when someone is breaking the rules that has already taken away one preorder for him, and likely many more if he didnt stop it, he's well entitled to do what he did.
It feels like some of you people feel that Glenno should have put a sign up in his store saying "Cancel Your PreOrder for AFL Live and Go Buy It From One Of My Major Competitors!"

It was his responsibility to buy it as part of his job once he knew it was for sale.
He didn't *need* to play it, however once he decided to do so there was a very good chance he would have been found out as you can see him playing it on XBLA, I would have seen him for one, he was at least making it clear that he did not use a copy from the EB shop or use his influence to get an early copy.

I rang my local EB And Big W today, EB said they expect it in on tuesday but wont sell it till thursday, Big W guy was clueless, said they didnt have it, said they wont get it till release day or day after but not sure when that day is.
Hoping i find one early but wont have a break down if i have to wait till thursday
