Called EB Games at Highpoint and levelled with teh guy:

Told him that it looks as though places in WA are selling the game, and asked him what their position on it was. He said that he's found out from his field manager that the release date was broken by Target, therefore everyone in WA is now selling it.

All other stores are now in a position where they can sell it, however they cant sell what they dont have. He said distribution occurs from Melbourne (unsure if thats true), but as a result they send out to all other states so places are ready to sell on release date (all at teh same time), therefore Melbourne will have the game last.

He expects Monday afternoon or Tuesday it will be ready to go, as EB Games will be keen to start selling asap to prevent people from buying elsewhere if available.

If you have a pre-order he suggested calling on Monday afternoon, otherwise waiting for an early pre-order call.

Well now i have a slight problem? Took the advice from an earlier post and followed up on a boragoon store in WA. Well they put one aside for me and i just got home from picking it up. Was sweating when the game was scaned, as i though it may say not for retail until the 21st.... Nope, no problem payed for it and left smiling.
Not sure what to do with my pre order now from EB?, as i had only gone in last thursday to pay the remainding balance so i can just pick it up when it's officially released! Thinking of still getting it so that i can help out a fan if all the 1st print copies sell out? Or maybe i will just tranfer the payment onto another PS3 game that will be out in the near future?

Not posting to rub it in to anyone, but after all the BS that has been on these threads for the last day or two, i just wanted to let you know that it is in stores and some are selling!!!! No lie!!!!

For anyone in Adelaide, if you want the game, just mention that you have a picture of it sold, they will tell you they hae stock, so just take the pic with you and they will sell it to you

the only thing i can think of is if chad eb has em, they may think kmart or target etc actually has them, therefore if they start selling them, one eb store in vic against everyone else=bad for eb

I would ring the Bendigo EB but there seems to be no need because Glenno said it hasn't left there distribution place yet. Also even if Bendigo does have it that wouldn't help the majority on here.

have just finished ringing ever store in northern adelaide that would sell the game, no one "has stock" despite saying the street date had been broken

but interestingly, one of the EB's said that they were expecting their stock either tomorrow or monday

I have picked it up from Kmart Morley although I cannot play it until I get home from work which won't be until 430. Lame.

K... first thing I did was check out custom teams. Not a lot of guernsey designs to choose from, maybe about 10 (none really in any AFL club style). You rotate through various colour schemes. I wanted to make the WA SOO side, so chose one predominantly yellow, with a bit of black, and unfortunately a bit of red.

Noticed you can also choose AFL club guernsey, but appeared to be limited to home guernseys... will need to look into this more.

Made WA, but to do so had to rip players OUT of their current AFL sides (they don't copy). Also limited as no club list can go below 40 players. After a few swaps, made a WA squad of 40. Its quite quick and easy to run through swapping players from team to team.

So I had my WA team, decided to play Victoria at the MCG in the rain. Vics got the jump, and I was inaccurate when I finally got going. Managed to kick 7 goals to 3 in the 2nd quarter (was playing 5 min quarters) before going goalless in the 3rd. Kicked a couple in the last to draw level but the bloody Vics held me off and got a couple of late ones (Goodes is very strong up forward) and lost by 2 goals.

Was on Pro difficulty.

Having fun so far... will try it online.

No trolling here! Working on getting a pic to post, but i ain't got a camera to do yet. Mate coming over later has a iphone so will be trying to get pic posted once he turns up.
Trust me i got sick of people posting they have the game when they probably don't, but is selling in WA 4sure.
Glenno should have kept his joy of having the game to himself. It's openned up a can of worms over here!

Ok, I called in Chadstone,

• JB HiFi
• EB Games
• GameTraders
• Target
• Kmart
• Dick Smith

None of them had stock (or so they told me) except for EB Games. EB said that they've heard rumours of a broken street date, however will not sell it until given the go ahead from Head Office. I told her about the whole WA situation and how it was reported by an EB Manager, and she said they could be hearing from it soon.

Having said that, being the weekend she also said that it could take a while for any messages to come through. On top of all that, they've only had a small amount of their shipment which appears to only be PS3 copies (although she wasn't entirely sure of that) and they would probably not cover pre orders....

What are set shots for goal like? They looked a little easy at times when watching the vids posted by HBK and friends, did you have much difficulty slotting them?
