Remind you gotta be joking me....in your original post u talked about why the advertisment on television is previewing the latest AFL game, yet the game has not been realeased yet....do you even know what your talking about? Obviously you dont work in advertising and your a fraud. Dont post something u dont have a clue about and try perswade people who are dying for the game to come out into not buying it. You could of atleast thought about trying to make sence before you typed it...neway

Only a week to go cant wait to start nathan foley in the guts
peace out

I never said I worked in Advertsing, read the full post before you reply!!
If ad agencies did what they wanted, the nothing would sell.
I see a lot of crap ads which never come out, as clients are preared to spend
many $$$$ to research them before hand and a lot of the creatives in ad agencies hate this

By the way have you read the latest email about the do and don'ts of posting here?

I agree with Remind. And 2 weeks after the release it's the trade period. The perfect time to release a game is just before round 1 IMO. Oh well I'll still buy it and no doubt love it.
Thanks for the support.

Sony has updated their website and it is set to be released on the 22nd of September. Before it said 22nd September 2005 TBC

remind marketing and advertising is basically the same thing you fraud....
is it me or does the ad on fox footy looks just the same as the game on 2004? And whys the field umpire goal umpiring aswell? So far its looking scratchy

Yes your right, Sony has changed release date, no more T.B.C

As game will be out for those interested in ps2!

Go and read a dictionary and look up the meanings!!

Saw an add (i am presuming one of the first) on channel 10 during the WCE and Adelaide Prelim Final. I also said that only on Playstation, meaning you won't be paying $49.95 on Thursday!!!

Ive seen a catalogue for Toys "R" us, up here in Cairns, which should be the same for all their stores nation wide, advertising AFL Premiership 2005 for PS2 @ $79.95 .... thats the cheapest I've seen it at. That same catalogue advertises Ricky Ponting Cricket at the same price as well.

I've allready got a pre order with EB Games for it, as i was going to trade in some old shonky games for it, but they are prolly gona be charging $90 something for it???

I work at Myer, I was hoping the game would come into our store early and i wouldve taken a copy home, but it hasnt unfortunately, so i guess i'll just have to wait until 22nd.

Ive read a few different views and reports on the game, very mixed so far .... sounds mostly negative though, with some upside ... I cant wait for the game to come out so everyone can have a good look at what it really is like, so all the crap where hearing from left right and center can either be finally confirmed or denied.

LOL .. after reading a bit of this thread im figuring there are going to be a lot of disappointed ppl out there when this game finally does come out...t will be like all the old ones, play it for a day or 2 and then realise what a crock of ******** it is,,,i definitely wldnt be wasting my money on it as i have been burnt on prev editions and there is nothing i have seen or read to indicate that this game will be that much better... save your money guys and buy sumthin decent with it

I remember when I got AFL Live 2003. I loaded it up and was quite impressed by the graphics (at that time) and after waiting since AFL 99 days for an AFL game, I said to myself, "I'm never going to get sick of this game ever."

About a week later it was in the 'never again' pile!

I still play AFL PE...despite the lack of difficulty and graphics can be not as improved as expected, it doesn't bother me. I have adapted to a new style of gameplay, which is the statistical game play. Going short, taking marks and risking marks inside 50 and playing on at opportunities. Even performances like not getting 60 possessions with the Centre and Rover....

Well if it does turn out badly then I'll probably sell it and get more than half my money back - but really, don't you have better things to do than coming in here, telling people not to buy the game? As others have said, even if it's not a great game, there are some features this year which should stand it in good stead ahead of previous versions (online play, trading, drafts, injuries, tribunal etc) - so I daresay there's more than a week's play there.

Each to their own I suppose, but I'm taking the risk and buying it Thursday. :)

I still play AFL 2003... even though all you can do is singles, finals and season... and the game on hard is the same as medium...

That's why I want this game... just because the only AFL games I own at the moment are AFL Finals Fever, AFL 98, AFL 99 and AFL Live 2003...

That's why I need this game

You are an idiot. If you read what he wrote which by your post clearly shows you didnt, Son of the West says "Ive seen a catalogue for Toys "R" us, up here in Cairns, which should be the same for all their stores nation wide, advertising AFL Premiership 2005 for PS2 @ $79.95."
