Thats ********ed then. I dont care about how many little bull******** features they have, and improved graphics, if it doesnt feel like you're playing Australian Rules Football, I ain't buying it.
I think I'd like to play it for myself before making a judgement call. What one person thinks is lame, may be pretty good for other people - it depends what you're looking for I suppose.

with that whole 'match any other store' has anyone ever tried making up a fake store and saying you sell a game for say 10 bucks cheaper....nothing too out there.

you have to provide proof that the store is selling it for that price, mainly to discourage ideas like yours :D

I played the game at Fed Square yesterday, it looks an improvement, but not by much.

Not worth shelling 100 dollars for.

so if you liked AFL2004 (except for the bugs and the problems with difficulty levels) this one would be worth buying?

Target Perth had about 50 copies come in today and were selling the games for $99.95, no embargo so they were able to. The game on thursday will be $84.95 there.

Has anyone else seen the ad for AFL Premiership 2005. I had close look at some of the vision from the game that is played during the ad and they had Nathan Brown in the ruck for Melbourne and a boundary umpire signalling a goal (as a goal umpire). Surely this doesn't happen in the real thing!

The ad that you saw was an early build of the game, more improvements would have been done since that version

Trading is interesting, you select a player or players from your club you want to trade then go to the other clubs and ask them to make an offer, then you accept of decline the offer.

Players will retire at the end of the season too. The draft is pretty cool, you get to go through all the players when your lotterry pick comes up, but first you'll have to delist enough players so you can enter the draft, I just did this randomly to see what it would be like. There's hundreds of players to pick from in the draft.

that is what i read from x box world aswell, it sounds good and more realistic that way you can't just go after all the good players you want

That all sounds pretty promising. If it become's too easy, you can always continually draft hacks until things even out. :D

Gonna get this obviously, these game are slowly improving & there are no alternatives so we may as well keep backing whoever makes 'em & pray for a Pro Evo like game in 2010...

from what i have read from that site from the people who have the game is that

There is no create a player or edit a player, a lot of injuries and suspensions, decent graphics, but a let down is that during the game it doesnt have the stats for the players it will only show up when somone takes a mark for example

Nathan Brown 3 kicks 1 handball 1 mark 1 goal

i then read that as a season goes on it has a list of total stats for the season for all your players
