AFL Premiership 2005 news

I just rang my local EB Games store (Bendigo), and they said September 8th was the release date for AFL 2005 on PS2, saying it had been "pushed back" again.

I pre-ordered my copy yesterday and was told next Thursday.

Then again it wouldn't suprise me if they did push it back agai.

I need AFL next week to ease my excitement of finally getting Foxtel Digital on the 5th of Sept. This will help cure me.

Like I already said if they're prepared to set back time to improve the game in every facet possible then I'm willing to wait, but this? this really IS a joke. The idiots running this joint need slap because this is beyond ridiculous now.

Why would they push it back? The article on the AFL website suggested it is a complete project so why would they still be working on it?
I'm going to head down to the local EB tomorrow and check what's happening.

I'm still confident it will come out September 8th. August 25th was never the official date from Sony or the AFL, and in a recent press release, which Demetriou was a part of, the given date was the 8th of September. The only source of the 25/08 release was EBs, and this goes the same for the 25/09 release date too.

That's very weird. Today I rang up EB (Southland) and they said September 8th.

Unfortunately, the only thing I can confirm for you at this point is that the expected date of release is still Spetember2005. We do not at this point have any further information about the changes in the gameplay or graphics (Including the Tribunal System).
