I’m near the G and it’s blue skies and sunshine here. BOM forecast is only 40% chance of rain most likely in Northern suburbs and only 1mm max. Think we’ll get a clear night. May be greasy tho due to the humidity.

We’ll pump these clowns anyway rain hail or shine. We’ve still got a few payback tickets to cash in from the 2011 granny.
Getting flash flooding in the east right now!

‘Like’ for figuring out how to order a potato cake in the northern states. :)

Let me know if you ever figure out how to order steamed dim sims ;)

I just asked for Patato Cakes. I find that they know what you are talking about. Except for 1 shop

Since when have we been this excited about the season opener? Gee wiz.
Pretty sure it’s been at least a year!
Yeah but last year didn't turn out that well. This year the excitement for me is a bit different. If we start this year from where we left off last season, with added hunger to get it right, given some great inclusions in Beams, Moore and Elliott, we are a huge chance. Thats one level of excitement. The other is to see this team play together - some of our footy was great to watch last year - and also the progress and performance of individuals. Elliott, Stephenson and Moore are exciting to watch. How good will Grundy be, what will Cox bring us.

Most excited I've been about watching the Pies and most positive I have been about our chances since 2011 season.

Pretty pumped about the match tonight. Kids and I leaving home just before 5pm to head in to town and get amongst it.

Really looking forward to watching the following players: (in no particular order) Elliot, Moore, Beams, Brown and Stephenson, oh and of course DeGoey!

Will we take the game on and and worry the Cats with our speed? Will centre clearances be a big advantage for either team considering new 6-6-6 rule?

Will Mason Cox be chock full of confidence after last year's prelim and second half of granny perfomances?

How will Pendles move around after being free of back injury from last year?

So much to look forward to!

Hoping the Pies are too strong against the Cats who have 4 rookie debutantes and 2 other club debutantes.

Pies by 19 points :thumbsu:

Cats have added a lot of pace.

How much more right do you imagine we need to get??

The entire backline decimated for the last half of the year with our captain and a few playmakers forced to play the GF almost on one leg and we went within a goal of doing the impossible.

We got it right and with a decent run of injuries we will erase that heartache in no uncertain terms.

Yeah agreed. I'm talking about the players having the self-belief that took them so close plus the hunger that comes from getting that close and missing out.
