Geez I couldve beaten Essendon's Great White Hope. Hawthorn next week will be a different proposition, in saying that he did do his job.

Could not agree more. Will us goldfish fans be saying the same thing in two weeks time? Let's wait and see.

I just want to drop a quick post. No votes for Enright but for me he is exceptional. Easy to be drawn to Ablett, Selwood, Scarlett and Bartel but I really enjoy watching what Enright does. In the third quater when it was hot he took a mark going back with the flight that was fantastic. With the team you have it is easy to get lost but Enright does a lot of things right most of the time. I could not name a better HBF than him in the last 10 years.:thumbsu:
Disagree, I thought that was Enrights worse game for a while

To be honest, i didn't really notice Jimmy in the first half... Was he really there in the first half?

Don't take this the wrong way but were you at the game???
Bartel was sensational all night, right from the opening bounce.
Admittedly he was better in the second half when the game was there to be won.
It was inspiring watching Bartel and Selwood throw their bodies into every contest - their will to win was amazing and those two in particular were awesome.

5. Jimmy Bartel - Won the Brownlow in 2007 but it still one of the most underrated players in the comp. Equally as good as Ablett and Selwood. He was on fire Friday night with 29 touches, two goals and several other acts of courage. BOG by a Peter Street!
4. Joel Selwood - One of the toughest men in football, when the game was there to be won he and Jimmy were smashing in all over the shop. 23 disposals but his work was first class and he and Jimmy opened the game up for Ablett.
3. Shannon Byrnes - Admittedly his radar was off (again) but he got plenty of it and still kicked some crunch goals. Needs to make the opposition pay more by kicking the goals but he was still very good on Friday night.
2. Gary Ablett - Quiet first half but he came to life in the second and ended up with 37 touches and two goals. Enough said.
1. Cameron Ling - Did a top-notch job on Jobe Watson and narrowly gets the one vote just ahead of Tom Lonergan who was also surprisingly good on Gumbleton.

5. Harry....still undermined
4. Ottens....huge last 1/4 but we knew that was gonna happen
3. Jimmeh....not sure what odds but get on now:)
2. Byrnes...rustys nephew just keeps improving
1. Ling...not sure on hodges stats but kept him ithought hten huge on mitchell last 1/4

hm...Lonergan:thumbsu:, stood up this week although shaky 1st half but most of us were with their pressure all around the ground. Looks to have confidence from the coaches which will take him to his full potential...I hope:thumbsu:
