Have been more worried about the Lions than the dogs and cats. Match the cats and dogs in their midfield and they are susceptible. Lions fwd line is the best in the 4.

If all the umpire wants to know is if the ball has touched a goal post, then yeah they probably should just go to the audio. You'd still need to look at the audio though to line up the time when the ball was supposedly touching the post, so you're not looking at a transient created by something else hitting the post (ie) someone's foot etc.

Would the audio not be programattically synced? Feels like it would be easy to cause interference. Wonder if the umpires just disregard the audio if a player touched the post at the same time.

This weekend couldn't have gone better for us. All other top four teams lost, our (arguably) biggest competition for the flag lost a key forward for the season.

Gotta say the swannies are probably the team I want to face the least in the finals. Gave us a massive shake earlier this season and have no fear.

Dogs are a different side without Naughton, no real threat in their forward half without him.

Bruce has kicked plenty of goals this year but is no good as the no1 target.
