So basically it’s going to need to be DeGoey switching with one other medium at full forward. Mihocek plays his usual hit-up forward role, and Moore stays back. We’re definitly undersized.

No ideas why he wasnt at least an emergency given we would have had to have known Cox was uncertain. Genuine head scratcher. Hope Grundy is ready for a large day with no chop out at all.

Just feel the match committee got this one badly wrong and we are going to pay for it.

That doesn't work in the modern game - looks like the approach today is an all-out small-ball attack up forward, which could still work as long as we're smart with the ball going into F50 and don't just keep bombing it in.

Windy as buggery up here a bit north of Melbourne too so should be interesting to see how this plays out.

Stoppage wrestling, yes. He'll compete.

Centre bounces? Forget about it.

If we are able to move the ball quickly then we can win without Cox. But if we get caught in the trap of bombing it up the line continuously I can't see us kicking too many goals today.

I'm still confident we will win. Cox out isn't great but we can adjust. Remember they are going in super tall. We can exploit them with our pace.

Honestly can’t see us winning this without Cox, we don’t have a contested marking threat at all now and Eagles thrive in intercepting the ball. Cox is arguably our most important player in a structural sense, it’s going to be tough to win this now.
