If both teams lose this week then that might be how they sell more tickets4 guest passes for Melb v Coll
Yes and? Game won't be drawing more than 50k as a dead rubber.4 guest passes for Melb v Coll
Or Collingwood may be playing for finals.Yes and? Game won't be drawing more than 50k as a dead rubber.
No mate, the AFL is well aware that they won't be beating both Sydney and Brisbane in the next two weeks.Or Collingwood may be playing for finals.
The AFL might be aware but are Collingwood supporters? Tickets are on sale next week. If Collingwood beat Sydney this week which is reasonably likely, the could be sitting in 9th and only out by percentage. No mate, the AFL is well aware that they won't be beating both Sydney and Brisbane in the next two weeks.
The only reason it is the Friday night game is that the AFL wanted all 3 matches on the Sunday to matter. That meant Richmond Gold Coast had to be the Saturday game which meant Melbourne Collingwood had to be friday.
I gave this feedback in the survey, guest passes must not be available until members have had a window to purchase tickets first, especially for big games and finals. In my opinion knowing it was going to be a big game, AFL shouldn’t have allowed guest passes much the same as on Anzac Day.
Section sold out quickly so many many AFL members missed out.
But as usual with the AFL, its all about the dollar and they would rather rake in $50 for a guest pass vs $11 for a member.
They just make it up as they goI emailed the AFL and got this reply...
"Our intake for gold generally happens at the beginning and the end of the season, subject to availability. We are hopeful to offer a gold upgrade to eligible members just before finals, if not, at the start of next year
Given that the waitlist operates on a one-in-one-out system, it makes it hard to predict and allocate upgrades sequentially."
It was clear until they started handing the corporates the reserve. They just make it up as they go
Can’t wait for the Grand Final to be GWS v Port with no tickets left over for silver members because corporates. Not going to be many finals in melbourne, could be a very quiet prelim final weekend
3/4 of Gold will probably also miss out. Can’t wait for the Grand Final to be GWS v Port with no tickets left over for silver members because corporates.
They set aside minimum 13.5k don't they? Or is it 11.5k? Can't remember but there's a range they communicate I thought it was 13.5k-17.5k for AFL members.3/4 of Gold will probably also miss out.
AFL might only release 3k for the reserve
Who would know? They could say they make it available and only release 3k. Sell the rest as corporate and we'd be none the wiserThey set aside minimum 13.5k don't they? Or is 11.5k? Can't remember but there's a range they communicate I thought it was 13.5k-17.5k for AFL members.
According to the AFL there are anywhere between 13-18,000 tickets. https://resources.afl.com.au/afl/do...FINAL-TICKET-SCHEME-Ticketing-Allocations.pdfWho would know? They could say they make it available and only release 3k. Sell the rest as corporate and we'd be none the wiser
Yeah I am not confident. 13-18k means a GWS Brisbane GF, we're all going if gold.According to the AFL there are anywhere between 13-18,000 tickets. https://resources.afl.com.au/afl/do...FINAL-TICKET-SCHEME-Ticketing-Allocations.pdf
Last year according to The Age AFL Members got 15,500 tickets. https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https://preview.redd.it/afl-grand-final-ticket-allocation-map-v0-5va08v3f8bqb1.png?width=640&crop=smart&auto=webp&s=4d3d6097a943c0f2e697ca6e1ad5781e50235629
So basically the AFL can do what they like because the numbers are vague.
Well it can't be any worse than missing out every other time!New interface in time for finals on ticketek for queueing, similar to ticketmaster showing how many people are ahead of you in the queue.
