Same as Thursday night, could walk straight into AFL members on level 4, not sure about level 1.

It's not just about the seats, it's the facilities

I walked Thursday underground to use facilities to buy food outside AFL members section.
Not too fussed myself because if someone in your seat that should not be there, it easy to sort out.
I have a ticket for seat and they are out. Everyone is aware it ticketed on these matches.
But yesterday when not fully ticketed it should be manned, if they not want someone just wander to seats that not ticketed.

The reserve has always been slightly trimmed for finals. Medallion club and corporates have been in the reserve for ages.

And 1200 people got upgraded this year which is one of the largest in the last 5-10 years.

Regular season games. N, P and M Undercover all reserved. I walked up to Hawks/Dees in P section this year. First time since 2019 I was able to wander up to L3 without booking.

I've walked up and sat on level 2 or 3 plenty of times or undercover M. Just have to wait until game has started already and then go and take some empty seats. Easy if you do it after halftime as well. The MCG staff don't care, especially if you've got hands full with drinks/food or a kid with you

Should just have walk up to 4 bays on L1 and L4 and be done with it. Kind of like at Marvel. Only the massive games should be fully ticketed.

There is no ideal time for tickets to go on sale. Someone will always be inconvenienced regardless of the time.

Nothing wrong with it being 12pm on a Monday. If you can't make that time; bad luck. Make alternate arrangements.

I get the feeling some tickets are reserved for physical outlets. They had a disabled lady on the news a few weeks ago who couldn't use the internet and she got tickets easily enough

ha ha. It was kind of fun in a social way with others but if it was 5 am in morning on a cold day it not much fun. I think I remember doing it around some morning Hewitt won US Open. I feel sorry for those that need to work tomorrow at midday and have to hope someone else can work the warm system on tickamess site and be out of their control.

After the drawn pies saint gf as a good friend I went to a newsagent to queue for my pies mates coming back from the G . At least they gave queue tickets later that night .
A few years earlier was in a group of people who rotated outside myer chadstone in the open and no queue tickets .This was before mobile phones
