Here's the official 2012 Supercoach thread. I would like to acknowledge that our very own Impromptu won the competition last year!

I'm sure mods are onto this, but I've copied this announcement placed on the Hawthorn board from SJ.

2012 SuperCoach leagues and prizes

2012 BigFooty SuperCoach Club Championships

In 2012 all 18 club boards will be represented by their top SuperCoach league in the Club Championships.

Each week, nine 'matches' will take place with each club board up against another club board. After a finals series and grand final, the winning board will be crowned Club Board SuperCoach Premier with all 18 players winning a winners tag under their BigFooty user name and a BFSC Gold membership (

).

Weekly results will be reported on both the SuperCoach Board and every club board.

What this means is that every club board needs to nominate their own top division to enter into the competition. Once this league is finalised and filled, the league organiser needs to contact SJ with the full list of teams and their team ID (ie. the number at the end of the link of that team's SuperCoach page). Please name this league: 'BigFooty [Club] [Division]' (eg. BigFooty Geelong 1).

Individual club board SuperCoach champion

The overall winner on every club board is eligible to to red winners tag (

) and BFSC Platinum membership (

). It is up to each board and its moderators on how the winner is decided, whether that be through overall rank or league grand final winner.

Other BigFooty SuperCoach leagues

The overall BigFooty SuperCoach winner (based on overall ranking) wins a blue winners tag (

).

If you have not already done so, please feel free head to the SuperCoach Board and register for a place in a league there. Often, many of these BigFooty leagues finish in the top 20 leagues in the competition. Registration threads are there for both new and past players.

We need to eek out how we are going to nominate players to be in our Div 1. Probably the easiest way would be going on 2011 ranking and post an image of our ranking. However, that will probably count me out, as I finished about 32-33k down last year and rarely checked my team, even finishing with 5 trades remaining. Though, I did finish 50th in 2010.

finished 3rd in our board league last year behind impromptu and jager bombers. ranked around 1300th. hopefully enough to qualify for our div 1 league. count me in!

Nice PP!

In. I just hope that they have done one of three things or maybe all three

a. Increased the salary cap
b. reduced the number of players needed
c. Cut the prices of the middle of the road players

I think I finished in the bottom half of the league that I was in.

I guess I should contribute this year too. 484th, 224th and 585th overall over the past three seasons. Prompts can vouch for me. ;)

Will vouch for you:thumbsu::thumbsu:

Don't slap me for this comment, but 'Collingwood SC Team Board' have done very well in the last few year (top 20 overall iirc)' therefore we need to try harder and beat Collingwood (seriously just a bit of fun)

Also the SC Essendon League Board disappeared in 2011 late in the year!!

Even if I finish 200,000 in 2012 I'll still continue making comments and ramble on, but can anyone who is the team leader for any league division , please do it for the entire year not just a few week?

After being 623 in 2009 and 2218 in 2010 I had a terrible year last year finishing 8,048. I have always done well in these leagues though, finishing fourth behind Flying Mongooses, Jager Bombers and Impromptu last year.

Count me in :thumbsu:

Back down to two bench spots, but prices are well up on last year.

I can help you with that. Just tell me your team name from that season and I'll look it up. :thumbsu:

Hoping I can get back at Impromptu for that premlinary final defeat last season too... even though he was unbackable favourite and the wheels had well and truly fallen off of my team at that stage.
