Jobe Watson. Atleast better than Roughead, Tippet, Rioli and Morris to name a few. Can't belive Rioli is at 32 ahead of guys like Enright, Harvey, Gibbs, Corey, Murphy, Boyd, Sewell.

I am not saying another team wouldnt jump at having him on their list but you need to earn a top 50 spot IMO and 1 good season should not get you in you so highly. Surely durability and experience count for something and Rioli has not shown any of these traits yet while the glaring omissions of others do.

Poor team. Pffft. Under achieving team with a hangover more like it. Lots of players have lead the B@F at the halfway mark of a season. Maybe we should award half a Brownlow as well for the player that leads after rd 11.

The only Essendon player I might have in the 50 would be Ryder, not Watson. Watson whilst good, is really an above averge honest midfielder. I can see this and I support them. It is our biggest problem. If Watson is our best midfielder in 2-3 years time, we are further away from the top 4 than all Essendon fans like me think.

Swan is the one I'd be questioning.

We'd take him in a flash. We need someone with a bit of x-factor capable of breaking open games like Cyril can.

Cyril will be good, sure. But elite up forward? The most goals he's kicked in a game is 4, and he's done that once.
Gibbs is a clean, ball winning, dual sided complete package midfielder who is accountable. He has shown much more than Rioli so far IMO.

too high or too low? I'd say based on 2009 he's too low, but he's got pretty shit hammies nowadays so 21 might be prudent.

Rioli has had more impact in games than Gibbs has. Will Gibbs be better- yes he will. Is he better now- no. He is yet to find a position in the midfield really.

Cyril is good and does some great things but guys like Harvey, Corey, Boyd and Sewell are just consistently great week after week. Would rather the thirty good things these guys do to the ten very good things Rioli does
