I actually think a JUH exit wouldn't be that bad for the Dogs.

They've got too many talls anyway and could turn a JUH trade into an advantage.

Bevo loves the super tall forward line but I agree.

If we can target JUH, he would be nicer to have structurally than Harley.

Disagree, JUH allows them to play Naughton is defence as he is a better backman and the dogs are thin down back.

Haven’t seen much of him but he was looking really good there for a patch last season before his form tapered off.
Does he help the balance of our side?
What do you pay for him…2 firsts and something back?? A good first rounder and one of our midfielders that he will replace (Hobbs)??

For GWS sake I hope he stays but if he leaves I would be very happy to get him

What would you pay for him? Depends on what assets we have. Not Hobbs. Similar package as to what Tigers got for Shai Bolton seems fair.

You can get absolute guns in the first round if you choose correctly. The club need to do the right thing, not what is popular. It wasn't long ago you all wanted to sell the farm for Brayshaw.

The club has often done exactly what the large majority of internet posters want. There was an obsession among Essendon forum posters for Prismall 2006-8. Shiel 2015-7, Hislop 2006, Kavanagh 2011. Etc Hopefully with Dodo gone the club may start thinking for itself.

Depending on list structure spending up draft capital to bring in a young 1st to 3rd year player with a near certainty of success is a perfectly reasonable position to take.

If Essendon gets Josh Dunkley instead of Dylan Sheil for those picks we’d feel very differently about the concept.

Same as if we’d traded the picks that became Parish and Francais for a decade of production from a young star who fit our needs.
