Finished on 1085 so a total of 2000 points exactly over the first 2 rounds. Went up ~850 places to 1091 overall. Leaning towards keeping the faith with Kearney and Priest but im not sure how ill spend my trades yet and they are the 'obvious' trade outs based on performance (lack of)

My hands are tied with replacing Stephenson and Luke. Not sure what to do with the last trade. I'm confused with Kearney too. Randall is tempting. Getting out of Hanks is another option, but it's either to someone averaging similarly and freeing up cash (like McEvoy), or take a punt on McCarthy to keep making 10 tackles a game... Want to bring in Smith but selling Moloney now feels stupider than buying her was. Perhaps that's some kind of sunk cost fallacy.

She played all of first 3 quarters in mid and then moved forward when the crows had done nothing and then they dominated. No idea if any causation involved. Any idea what she was on at 3/4 time?

Currently gone with B.Tarrant, Barba & C.Hamilton > Tahau, T.Smith, Wilcox

Mainly fixing my bench with Barba and Hamilton not looking like making much money. T.Smith comes into the starting side and Fleming/H.Stuart drop to Mid bench & utility. Tahau replaces B.Tarrant on field.

Those trades mean im very much backing in Kearney & Priest to score something decent in defence. I dont like many of the 'guns' apart from Schleicher anyway.

A) Grider -> Randall (-5,400) OR B) Bridie Kennedy -> Tahau (-14,900)

But very loose trades here. Could change throughout the week for sure.

1) Meg McDonald
2) Patrikios
3) Conway
4) Wales/McCormick ruck combo

What do people think I should look to fix?

Feels like Patrikios > Tamara Smith is a go
McDonald > Randall or possibly Keaney from GC
Then I don’t know what to do lol.

1. Averaging higher than she's priced at, not losing cash, 2 game sample size with a body of work that's better than these numbers historically & a position that is proving hard to identify good trade targets. Not your biggest problem

2. Depends where you're going with her. She's 21, averaged 90 at 19. Priced at 70. Small sample size. I think it's okay to move her if you're taking her up, but if you're looking to go down, I reckon go down with someone else. Who's your M4/5/6/U?

4. Agree, this is a bit yikes, but so is the whole ruck department. Wales was a yikes in R1 because 33% CBAs. Tamara Luke got injured, and she put up a 56 leading the line. Against a pretty hard ruck to go up against. Assuming Luke doesn't come back, I don't think she's bad value to retain. Who's the solution? Save upgrading to Breann Moody, there's not much there. Maybe Olivia Fuller given she looks to have taken a step?

1. I never really liked the pick but you’re right she’s not going down in price.

2. Fleming, Dowrick, Stuart and Barba

3. No idea she was just annoying me yesterday going everywhere the ball wasn’t. Maybe a Molloy as an option.

4. The worst part is I’ve had them wrong way around both weeks

Bench is Kennedy, Stuart, one of the rucks, Whelan and Barba if there are better options that I’m missing I could fix these too I guess

Eva > Swanson (considered holding her due to the Giants playing the Swans this weekend, but opted to pay a bit more and upgrade to go for the reliability and consistency of Swanson, and considering I already have Hooker, why not add the top Eagles scorer. I considered bringing in Alyce Parker, she’s had a hot start, but I have this feeling she’ll drop a low score soon so I’m playing it safe)

Thoughts on D'Arcy anyone? Already on my mind before the rising star nomination, knew some people were fans of her.

Chloe Dalton? 60% and 88% CBAs this year (last year bugger all, usually on a wing). Beeson doesn't look like coming back into their rotation any time soon.

Keaney from the Suns is a decent option. $61k and was named in the middle last week, scored decently and she’s marked as a defender in game

I think these are good trades. Obvious targets for sure, but if you don't have Eastman it's a huge advantage to concede, and the other two are ones if you don't get now, it'll be hard to get later. Agree with the keeping Tamara Luke thing. Probably better having utility cover your ruck than burn a trade to have a ruck emg.

At the moment I've gone the following

1) Yorston to Tamara Smith
2) Grider to Randall
3) Patrikios to Alyce Parker

I'm not absolutely sold on any of those trades. Yorston doesn't feel like the smartest trade out option but if I get rid of Jas Fleming instead, Smith probably sits on my bench which is a waste. And would mean I have to sacrifice the Grider trade.

I don't love the Grider to Randall move but if she keeps getting mid time it's a no brainer especially with the lack of defenders. And it's now or never for Parker - but worried about tags. Wasn't sure whether to go Hill or Patrikios out, Hill worries me a little with the handball happy/low tackle/mark game a bit like Prespakis until this year.

They seem solid to me. I still have my Yorston (Moloney) for another week, we'll see.

I'm very interested to see what will happen with Parker. As a GWS fan I've been probably more aware of her than some have before - but as a GWS fan she doesn't look that different to me this year than she has every other year she took out our medal. I guess the new coach and new gameplan may be giving her more opportunities even with much the same role.
