I’m so confused right now
Both Roger Rasheed and a Power men’s assistant coach wearing Crows scarves is not something I had on my bingo card this year

The positive thing I take from this is that we’re the 2nd most likely club to retain her. She slid for a reasonIf we manage to keep her, that'll be great, but I just can't help but think that she'll request a trade at the very first opportunity
When Port traded down she knew the only chance to stay in SA was to come to us.You'd have to assume we did our homework on this one. Given that Rasheed slid as far as she did, it's probably safe to assume that clubs saw her as a potential flight risk. I'm sure we wouldn't have gone out on a limb without at least asking the question of her.
Utter garbageShe'll be a Port next year 100% it's a waste of a pick.
Why ??If we manage to keep her, that'll be great, but I just can't help but think that she'll request a trade at the very first opportunity
Levicki has retired - I think this is the main reason we picked her up.Just saw Port picked Chloe Gaunt and like I said Brisbane didn’t match, looks a good player but will be behind Houghton, Teakle, Levicki and the returning Tahau and Young… interesting to see how many tall forward options they have on the list where as the Crows have only Gould and maybe Tarlinton, totally different list ideologies and builds.
Ah I somehow missed that, I was a fan thought she was getting better as a player like you said makes a lot more sense especially with Jacques also gone & Tahau is always a chance to go back as well to help that area too.Levicki has retired - I think this is the main reason we picked her up.
Why ??
Izak Rankine didn't request a trade from the Suns at the first opportunity, Brodie Smith didn't want to run to Port.
The vast majority of players don't get to play for the clubs they supported as kid.
People wet the bed too much over this stuff
Reasonably confidentWhile she's obviously a talent, she's a draftee - how convinced are we she's going to smash it in season 1?

Since 2021 these are the number of games played by first-year (18/19 y/o) draftees/recruits under Clarke;Reasonably confident

Prowse - 1
Tonon - 3
Ballard - 4
Kustermann - 1
Mueller - 5
Smith - 1
Boileau - 4
Henry - 0
Most of these games were with minimal actual time on ground as well, Rasheed as immensely talented as her junior footy record shows her to be will most likely firstly have to really convince Clarke to play her as a teenager which as shown here he has become increasingly reluctant to do over recent seasons.

If it wasn’t under the old state-based system I’d argue Boileau & Kustermann would’ve been ranked as late first rounders at least talent-wise, I do agree that of course she’ll most likely get more games than those I mentioned but the question was what amount of impact she’ll have in the first season and I would temper that given even if she plays a majority of games she’ll be played in a less prominent position given the team make-up (most likely out of the forward pocket) and will still likely have less minutes on-field.I agree that we've been slow to play draftees, but of those names you've mentioned the only one who came in with anything close to the reputation of Rasheed was Prowse, and she was an undersized ruck at SANFLW level who needed to develop a second string to her bow.
A better comparison would be Charlton, who came in and played plenty of football in her first season despite us making it to a grand final.
Maybe for the same reason Erin left as soon as the Power came in? The Rasheed family seem to have black and white/teal blood. Why ??

Erins father is an All-Time great and premiership captain.Maybe for the same reason Erin left as soon as the Power came in? The Rasheed family seem to have black and white/teal blood.
Absolute rubbish.Hitaf was more than a supporter. She worked for 10 years as General Manager - Communications at the Power. Was Roger a Director on their Board?
There is a big difference between what Erin did and what India may do, but I believe it would be for the same reason. Her heart would be with the Power.
