Lakay's work around the ground has improved massively in the second half of this season. Still really young for someone her size too.

She was always good in ruck, her mobility around the ground was the question. She's answered that this season, massive improvement.

I know we have a crack at the AFL for changing rules midseason, but it doesn't compare to AFLW umpires changing rules midgame. It's quite something.

Belted by one of the weaker teams. All in all, the second half of the season has been very disappointing.

I think the improvement is there under Daisy but the list needs a heap of work.

Dogs and Blues need to upset Freo and Bombers respectively for us to slide from 7th pick.

A God awful watch that. The Daisy factor wore off pretty quickly. The only passage that lit me up was the Mikayla Western goal. The rest - awful.
Terrible defence all day, terrible defensive running. Swans were just running past all day for the handball - where were our girls?
Lakay, you are a big girl, use your strength and weight - don't get moved off the ball. Swanson, swan song I think, fumbly all game, no awareness.
Outmuscled all day.
The umpiring was disgraceful - very one-sided to the Swans. Same rules for both teams umps! That was bullcrap!

That was very disappointing. Thrashed by a team that has won two games up to now. Made them look like champions.

Hard to say whether the team has improved from previous years. Probably a little.
Some players such as Lakay, Lewis, Schilling, Western, Franklin have improved.
Others have stayed much the same or gone backwards.
A number of players don’t seem up to the level.

At least Daisy has seen what she got to work with. Need both skilled experienced players and talented youth to become consistently competitive.

Hoping for something better next year.

Yep, I get the draft is good, but I still think losing some of the vibes that were around this team after the first month hurts us more than a few spots in the draft order gets us

Poor performance today but overall happy with the year. I am sure after the draft and in the years ahead we will improve.
