I don't think that's true.

In fact he only supported gay marriage in a 2012 interview and in 2016 Jones publicly stated he opposed the same sex marriage plebiscite because it could be “angry and spiteful and divisive” and "gay and lesbian Australians have suffered enough".

His opposition to the same sex marriage plebiscite was latched onto by church and conservative groups as behim being against gay marriage but that was a misrepresentation. He was against a costly, divisive and unnecessary plebiscite NOT the concept of same sex marriage.

His 2016 statement said "love was “an elusive thing”.

“If people find it they should be able to celebrate it. If that celebration manifests itself in same-sex marriage, then the world’s not going to fall in. I think people are tired of all this,”

But again, its his alleged criminality that's the issue in this thread and NOT his sexuality or his social opinions no matter how offensive of hypocritical they might seem.

The important point is that he is an alleged serial predatory pedophile that was protected by media and politicians and he has ruined many lives.

Given the large time frame of the alleged offending, would be surprised if the number of alleged victims doesn't at least double.

Worked in hospitality in Sydney in the early 90’s in places that Jones frequented. He occasionally seemed to take a fancy to some guys and could be a little creepy. He had a weird personality - quite intense and stern but then suddenly a bit fawning to guys he was interested in

One of my loved ones (a highly regarded at the top of their profession peer of Jones (age wise)) told me that they were abused by Jones during a radio interview, and I’ve never forgiven Jones for that.

Lucky for Jones that I never crossed his path around Circular Quay, or he might have copped a tongue lashing from me in retribution.

They didn’t rescue Pell. There was no evidence that warranted it even going to trial.
However, Jones has a lot more allegations to confront. Lets see where this goes.

Bolt not knowing about the accusations against Jones ? Ever since I have been in Aus since 1996 there has been accusations against Jones (and I didn't know him from a bar of soap I still heard stories about him) And time after time Jones has refused to try and take his accusers to court to sue for slander. He has always had the means to pursue legal action and has never gone ahead with it. About time he answers some questions.

In relation to Alan Jones, I wonder how many people (if any)were ever reported to and investigated, monitored (or even charged and convicted as a result) by the now reformed and relocated NSW Police Fixated Persons Unit?

Quite ironic, when from what is being reported by the media, Alan Jones appears to have had personal flaws in developing almost fixated, stalky like obsessions, on a variety of young men over the years, including of those in his education duty of care, and others whom he had some degree of work related power over.
