I've got a little emotional today. As soon as I heard him speak I knew it was a true homecoming for him. The fact that he listed the names of a bunch of old guys that no one else in the world knows of. But they matter to him. For some reason that really resonates with me.

Over the last few weeks I have never been all in on him. But he's our man. After one media conference I'll back him till the end of time.

As a Richmond man I dont know much about your club but absolutely well done to your President and board. Theyve made your club relevant again. I love the fact you shafted Essendon. Absolute muppet club down at Tullamarine.

As for Clarkson what Ill say is hes got balls. The easy option was Essendon, big club, big money, big sponsors, big matches anzac day and dreamtime but hes chosen you guys when your at your lowest ebb. If he succeeds at North he'll be considered the greatest ever but again well done on your appointment of clarkson, your Presidents done a mighty job.

As a lifelong Hawks supporter I was disgusted when my oldest picked the plane (he's since jumped to Richmond).
And was amused more than anything when my youngest picked the kangaroo.

At the end of 2020 when David Noble was appointed as your head coach I was interested enough to keep tabs on how he went.
I was rapt when your first win with him was in his home state, and was happy for you when JHF was announced at #1 in last year's draft.
I am sorry he couldn't do a better job with your team..

I sincerely hope this is just the first of many glorious days for North Melbourne with Clarko as your head coach.

If l had known about all the things that had happened to him while at North , meeting his wife, consoling him and helping him during his brothers passing, giving him a chance at AFL football and changing his attitude on life, l would not have stressed out at all knowing that we had him..
