As you pointed out, the simple fact that the activist Ben Abbatangelo straddles both issues is what makes the Voice discussion immediately relevant. The Voice stuff belongs here because those who advised Amy and co see what they did as art of an ongoing wider cultural/political fight of which the Voice is also a part.
GoldAgree! Less Voice discussion and more Spandau Ballet lyrics please.
The most foolish and ill-advised thing that Albanese has risked doing with this referendum is to legitimise old spud face as a genuine alternative leader for a lot of Australians who believe their views are not being considered by the current government. Dutton didn't have a snow flake's chance in hell before this. But just like Howard, and Abbott, and Morrison, it's remarkable the way these unelectable space-fillers manage to fall arse backward into the top job.

It's also inevitable that some supporters of Clarko and Fagan are feeling that the way this investigation has played out, indigenous voices have been given the opportunity to speak their truths, while white Australian voices have been silenced, leading to a sense of miscarriage of justice. Any misgivings about that in relation to the Voice are unhelpful to the cause.
I think that justifies further conversation, especially as it's unlikely that there will be any breaking news from Clarko in the immediate future.
It should be odd to vote on something based on how others vote, rather than how you feel about it. But I guess that it has become more normal in the current climate where certain groups want to label anyone who disagrees with them as far right racists. Its a pretty normal way of voting, ill vote one way because this way is less worse
But back on topic, no news is good news?
Hawthorn semi ITK type suggesting Gowers has reached out to Clarko and Fagan, even met with Fagan when Lions were here.
Perhaps if the incompetent Protestant tartan rug podiatrists had done that BEFORE they let Lucky Phil's report leak (then leaked it again themselves) a whole lot of pain and suffering on all sides would have been avoided.
And their list management team would be able to plan for November with certainty.
I agree, let's got back to talking rice cookers and dim sims.Oh, absolutely it fits a clarko thread, i agree with a few here that its pointless bullshit (and much more practical, directed, state based idea would be infinitely more effective) and clarko threads are historically 98% discussion of pointless bullshit.
We are back to microwaving. The Rice Cooker was scrubbed out, re-packed into its original box and has been taken to the Op-Shop.I agree, let's got back to talking rice cookers and dim sims.

What happens if this thread goes for so long that we run out of songs to reference? Does that mean we need to close the thread or will we just go round and round with the same lyrics? I don't need this pressure on.This means nothing to me.

Charlie Cameron can stick his "Country Roads", I look forward to the day the lower deck at Marvel all burst out in song to this when Coops starts kicking goals. "Ah, the Enna."Cooper Harvey = The Enna

We could end up Through The Barricades.Well, to cut a long story short, we'll lose our minds.
I sort of like how players have songs when they score a goal at the Lions. They tried something and the home fans seem to love it.Charlie Cameron can stick his "Country Roads", I look forward to the day the lower deck at Marvel all burst out in song to this when Coops starts kicking goals. Would be surprised if he hadn't, but at the end of the day they haven't even managed a public apology to Clarko, Fagan, and Burt for what they put them through. Surely that would be the bare minimum.Hawthorn semi ITK type suggesting Gowers has reached out to Clarko and Fagan, even met with Fagan when Lions were here.
dim sims.
