I wouldn’t care whats played at my funeral, because i’ll be *in dead

Pretty solid logic there.

At the same time, if some smartarse plays a Billy Joel song at my funeral, I swear I will come back to haunt them for the rest of their days.

Come now. I can just see a live performance at your cremation with the adjusted lyrics:

We just started the fire
Now it’s burning, your world's stop turning.

Anyway, my funeral song from Australias greatest band:

^ Strongly approve.

(On a related note, the stark but awesome 'Dusty In Here' from Before Hollywood is Grant's song to/for his deceased father.)

Haven't given the subject much thought to be honest, but I reckon Ride's 'Vapour Trail' would make for a decent funeral song.

Won’t be at North from what I’ve been told. North have NOT spoken to him and that article is just pure speculation which states that only Carlton have spoken to him. Don’t know how they’ve suddenly linked North in other than the Clarko connection.
It's what the AFL media do best they could say;
Brett Ratten, who has previously bought a new car from Nick Theodossi Prestige Cars, is considering his football future. Given Ratten gets his car serviced in Arden Street the former Saints Coach is looking to combine his car services with a part-time role at the Kangaroos under his former mentor Alastair Clarkson who also owns a car. North Melbourne has been contacted for comment on what type of vehicle Clarkson drives.

I think we should park all of this depressing morbid crap right now. It's bringing the tone of the whole place down.

Instead, can we come up with something more decent as funeral songs?

No Billy Joel either.

Wake me up before you go go - Wham.
