The team has trained to play a very attacking brand of footy. When you play an attacking brand your foot skills need to be great, and you need a really solid defensive group to cover for the inevitable turnovers.

A lot of our players have average to poor footskills, and our defensive third of the ground is our weakest. Has the coach set us up to fail?

If it wasn't Clarko, it was going to be another Noble type appointment.

No young coach would touch thus joint with a 10 foot pole. Career killing.

Plenty to look forward to in my opinion example look at Combens game today. Powell improvment Xerri just to name 3.

Yze wouldn't coach us for this exact reason and I don't blame him

At some point you have to stop blaming the coaches for everything. Weve had what? 22 in the last 5yrs. One of which is a multi premiership winning master coach.
Heat has to come on the playing group at some point.

We’ve had
  • Brad (who’s record is looking better by the day)
  • Shaw (mental health)
  • Noble (out of his depth but thanks for being the fall-guy for this rabble organisation)

Now Clarko who has been given a stack of talent. The heat absolutely comes on him to turn this around.
I agree it’s on the playing group. But it’s on him to get the most out of the playing group. That’s coaching. That’s why we went and got him, and why he’s being paid the big bucks.

Disgraceful selection by the coaches and disgraceful gameplan on a ground with no wings. Deserves a whack. **** you Clarkson, lift you little ****ing dog.

I agree.

It's just too much of a job for a rookie coach. This needs a bloke who can take a bit of heat.

The playing group and what about the campaigner rawlings who is recruiting these duds on big money and long ****ing contracts?

Why what has he done that Clarko hasn't

I think the team immediately lifted when he took over. The wins didn’t come but there was a definite difference. He tried things.
I still really hope things work out with Clarko. If they don’t, and you ask me “Well, who should’ve coached us for these five years instead?”, I will probably say Ratten. We’ll never know.

sure tough guy, you can find Arden street on Google maps and go down and tell him yourself

If your players get beaten so badly in contested ball, as we have been in all the games so far, there's no game plan rabbit you can pull out of a coaching hat. You have to make changes at the selection table and pick guys who can win their own ball. Problem is, who are they?

Obviously we have some young, immature bodies but it's the raft of older players who keep losing contested ball, or turning it over by hand under pressure, or not competing aerially who are killing us.

Definitely trust Clarkson and that group of coaches to weed out the non-competitors, the guys who can't win contested ball in and out of season.
