Darrean Wyatt was signed as a Cat B Rookie for the 2016 season: https://www.afl.com.au/news/109660/collingwood-signs-204cm-college-basketballer+ Ben Richmond.
Who was Wyatt? I don't remember him.
Gotta admit, every time I click it, I’m hoping for the news and the posts trolling Dave to start the welcome thread.I get excited when I see this thread bumped.
Jeez that’s a blast from the past. He was always a long shot, much like Richmond.Darrean Wyatt was signed as a Cat B Rookie for the 2016 season: https://www.afl.com.au/news/109660/collingwood-signs-204cm-college-basketballer

He played 12 Reserves games that year, but was let go at the end of the season, having really struggled to make an impression: https://www.collingwoodfc.com.au/news/324056/magpies-announce-list-changes

He's played for the likes of Gisborne, Glenorchy, Noble Park, Port Melbourne Colts, and in the VFL with Coburg and Frankston since leaving Collingwood. He started this year with Wodonga Raiders (5 games), moved to Melton South (5 games), and finished back at Port Melbourne Colts (4 games)!
Pretty amazing that Cox and Keefe are closing in on a combined 30 years in the system.Jeez that’s a blast from the past. He was always a long shot, much like Richmond.
Unfortunately, there was a good reason those two only lasted the one year at Collingwood! Despite being Cat B Rookies the club didn't keep them on.Jeez that’s a blast from the past. He was always a long shot, much like Richmond.
