At the moment BF is a place to come and muse over what might or might not be.
Normal programming will resume once there’s actually footy stuff to discuss.
In the meantime, please feel free to relax and enjoy the tranquil setting.

Not much Footy talk until Pre-Season Starts as Jen2310 be giving us Content from there

Then Draft in a Few Weeks

I reckon football is the furthest thing on his mind. I'm doubting he'll ever come to us
If that were true he wouldn’t be signing a contract with us at all. Kind of feels like he knows the odds of him making the nba better than you and a lot of other posters here.
If he starts consistently dominating this season then maybe those odds shorten but as it stands he’s still a long shot.

It's frustrating me

If he has a good enough season to get drafted he won't.
I'm sensing that football is just something to fall back on. There's also the fact that he hasn't played football for 4 years. It's not easy to come back after that long out. Especially at his size. I know Parker did it but he's much smaller. I know nothing about basketball but wouldn't he make lots more money playing in Europe in the lower league

The stars of the big European leagues make millions - but the new recruits make less money than we'll be giving him to begin with. AFL would be a safer financial move, if he doesn't make NBA.

We'll get a fair good idea come march whether he is any chance of being drafted. He's competing against a lot of players plus international for so little spots.

Average 23 Points will make NBA teams at least look at him

I hate basketball but my 5yo grandson loves it and apparently I barrack for the Indiana Pacers

Ok, one more, if he fails in march can we sign him and bring him over right away. Would be handy if he came to us that early in the season
Yeah, it's said, if he isn't in draft calculations after then, he'll come back home once the academic year finishes in april or may

If he nominates for the draft, but doesn't get drafted, then he can't go back to college anyway.

So IF he Nominates for the Draft he stays to afterwards to see IF he get any Invites by NBA Teams to have look at him in there Summer League?
