That's a massive if. Throwing away further studies because you might become a successful athlete (which is a short career anyway) is so silly. AFL clubs encourage existing AFL players to get involved in tertiary studies as is.He could transfer his partial degree back to an Australia university and complete it here.
Also, if he is successful at AFL, he probably won't need a degree.
He also has the lure of staying in basketball and aiming for the next Australian Olympics Squad.
Why would we? he's still playing basketball. We prob won't hear anything until mid year, post draft, if thats when he'll give it up or at least make a decision if he wants to end it there or try 1 more year.We have heard nothing from Club or Condon since the Media said he would Sign 100% as a Cat B Rookie
Interesting to think that

Its not a lie. Come on now. Nothing has changed. If he doesnt get drafted and gives up basketball, he'll be a pie. Just a matter of when.Well said he wanted to Join Collingwood IF not Drafted
Looks like a Lie and Still might never come to us even IF Not Drafted
Don’t go to harsh Dave, nothing is anywhere near decided yet.Well said he wanted to Join Collingwood IF not Drafted

God and guns.Yeah, sure, but I think you (and NBA scouts) need to focus more on his poor free throw conversion and blatant and vocal hatred of democracy, capitalism, and freedom.
The majority of the Boomers squad these days are NBA level. At best he might get a game or two as a development player, but it’s unlikely he’d be anywhere near the Olympic team.He also has the lure of staying in basketball and aiming for the next Australian Olympics Squad.
You are right about the talent in the squad but he definitely spent some time training with the squad prior to the recent Olympics so I think it’s something he may have in the back of his mind. The majority of the Boomers squad these days are NBA level. He's not just gonna hang around for a chance he could eventually be in the boomers squad. It's been very clear from day 1. Its nba, if not, he'll transition back into footy; which could be as early as mid year. You are right about the talent in the squad but he definitely spent some time training with the squad prior to the recent Olympics so I think it’s something he may have in the back of his mind.
I doubt he’d have agreed to sign on as a cat B with us already if he was considering still pursuing a career in basketball if he doesn’t make the NBA.You are right about the talent in the squad but he definitely spent some time training with the squad prior to the recent Olympics so I think it’s something he may have in the back of his mind.
