Drafted in the second round would be an interesting decision for him. Unlikely to put him on a roster and off to play in lower leagues like he would be if undrafted and sticking with basketball. Wonder what he'd choose.

Yeah I'm not convinced someone can go from outside the top 150 players and not mentioned in draft circles to a first or 2nd rounder.
We'll see. He's not even the best player on his team.

If he needs to put on "size" then he's better off doing that now under the NBA testing regime than he is under the AFL's!

Once again, it’s a strange article all round. I’d be interested to know this supposed “scout” they’re talking to, because no other media outlet seems to be even close to on board with that assessment.

There won't be much of a choice, he wants to play NBA and even a 2nd round NBA player is gonna get paid over a million dollars US per year

That's the minimum if he gets an NBA contract. A lot of second round picks don't get NBA contracts.

Condon has only been playing in competitions since 16, so the scope for improvement could be large. He doesn't look like he'd belong on an NBA roster yet, but you could see a team banking him for the future in the second round - dreaming of the next Jokic. If he stuck with hoops, he'd then play in another league for a lot less than the NBA minimum.
