Would walk into Port and knows how to win a premiership.
Is his premiership winning strategy play on the same team as Gawn and petracca?

Seriously though, he plays well against us every time. Good solid role player that works his arse off both ways. I could see him at port and being part of the Houston deal.

Not gonna win you a game with 5 goals or 40 disposals but he's a bloke who you give a job too and he does it every single time..
Definitely worth way more to us than in a trade. Any type of second round pick more than likely gets it done.

Yeah Port don't need good players.

He’s nothing more than a solid player that goes at 15-20 disposals and a goal every second game.

Don’t see what he can add to the team that others aren’t already, no point throwing away a pick just for the sake of it.

Got it, you've never really watched him just say that next time

He’s better than any of DBJ, Evans, Narkle or Mcentee in your forward line for starters.

ANB is the type of player who’s integral to a premiership side - like Close or McCreery from the past two flag winners.

Big loss for Melbourne and will become a fan favourite wherever he ends up.

Byrne-Jones is under rated. 23 goals and 23 assists this season. A club high 46 goal contributions.

With Spp back next year to plus rioli

Flags are built on players like Neal-Bullen. Tough as nails and will perform in any role he’s asked. He won’t make the coaches votes often but he lets better players play better footy.

Surprised Port fans don’t seem fussed unless they haven’t seen much of him? Even with Powell-Pepper back I think he walks into that side

HF: Powell-Pepper - Marshall/Lord - Neal-Bullen
F: Rioli - Georgiades - Byrne-Jones
Bench: Marshall/Lord

I know how Port fans feel about McEntee. Neal-Bullen would finish McEntee’s career at Port Adelaide

Guess it all comes down to price to.
We are trying to get picks not trade them out for not needs etc

Does he have any value?

I am shocked that all clubs don't try to raid our players. It seems everyone looks shit playing for Goodwin and suddenly improves the moment they leave: Toby Bedford, James Jordon, Brodie Grundy, Jayden Hunt....

ANB is fine, but I can't see either Crows or Port making him their priority. Deal should get done for a late 2nd/3rd rounder.

He’s only kicked over 20 goals in a season once in his career. Let’s not pretend that he’s a good forward either.

DBJ is on track to kick more goals than he ever has in a season so that’s debatable whose winning that battle but we certainly don’t need them both up front.

Generally only one of Narkle, Evans or McEntee plays when our other forwards are fit. McEntee has lost his spot in the side for most of the second half of the season (thankfully). Narkle only gets game time as the sub and yeah he’s a better version that Evans but that’s not worth trading for when again, ANB isnt a quality forward either.

Were not going to see a forward line of DBJ, ANB and a mix of those mentioned.

If he isn’t offering something improved on what we have (DBJ) then there is no need for him at 29 years old.

Draft to replace Evans with Bennett (NGA) this year and hopefully a couple from last year can show something.

We also have SPP to return next year who also kicked more goals in his last season than ANB ever has so again, he’s not replacing him and he brings the added inside grunt as well.

Unless he’s a third round pick (which they won’t take) he’s not worth anything more to our current side.

You are aware that some forwards play defensive roles right?

He’s the bloke who would watch JHF opponent after a bounce when he is in the midfield so JHF can get off the chain.

Which of your half-forwards does that now? And are they booting 20 goals a season while doing it?

Ahh DBJ…. and seems he’s also playing his forward role better by kicking more goals and assists.

Can’t play them both in the same forward line and ANB doesn’t offer anything of significance over him so it’s not a need.

DBJ tags inside midfielders into defensive 50 to free up JHF to get off the chain?

Odd, I haven’t noticed him do that before.

Which Mid was he on last weekend? Rivers, Viney or Oliver?

Looking at Telstra tracker ANB got 24 disposals with 36% of those in defensive 50

DBJ got 13 disposals with 8% of those in defensive 50

I know which one I would prefer.

crows fans wanted a first rounder for Shane McAdam (lol), regardless I want more for ANB.
