We'd need to package him up with a R1 pick for that to happenIf Darling Leaves, you can have Matt Taberner for a season or 2. lol

Mutually end the contract - then he becomes a free agent. Can't recall who - but happened a few years backHe’s contracted so have to trade
Pick 64 is what will get it done
Such a leader during covid. The work he does behind the scene's atm has really set-up WC and I'm shocked they are trading him.to be fair, the impact Darling will have at North wont be obvious to spectators, as a lot of it will be off-field
We wont get anything if hes a free agent, its better for us if its a tradeMutually end the contract - then he becomes a free agent. Can't recall who - but happened a few years back
Thanks for your take mateSuch a leader during covid. The work he does behind the scene's atm has really set-up WC and I'm shocked they are trading him.
When North shoot up the ladder next year, JD will be main reason.
I don't know much about JD.Such a leader during covid. The work he does behind the scene's atm has really set-up WC and I'm shocked they are trading him.

Hes got nothing, hes just having a go at Darling for not wanting the Covid jab and his output falling off in recent yearsI don't know much about JD.
Can you expand a bit on this plz?
You're not going to get him to move interstate unless it's a 2 year deal at minimum I would've thought.Much maligned player. Statistically, Darling has had a very good AFL career. With all that considered, North are absolutely bonkers if they offer this guy a 3 year deal. Give him 1 and a trigger for a second if he plays 18 games (At the very most!)
Most likely North will give him 2 years with a trigger for a 3rd...You're not going to get him to move interstate unless it's a 2 year deal at minimum I would've thought.
I doubt that would be allowed and if it was we could do that with Shai Bolton & Dan Rioli and get picks #2 & #3 as compo picksMutually end the contract - then he becomes a free agent. Can't recall who - but happened a few years back
"Loosing a step"
As a pure stop-gap to stop Larkey getting swamped while the young KPPs develop, it seems fair enough. This is an interesting one. I feel like it benefits North in the short term, more than the long term, which is an odd approach for a side consistently in the bottom 4.
However, if having an extra forward target improves team balance and results in some extra wins in 2025, I feel like North fans would take it.
Create some winning culture is also important.
The number of people these days that don't know lose and loose is sad.
I mean, I can get the use of the wrong their, there or they're but lose and loose are two completely different words.
A bit like a 'mute' point
Realistically he's replacing sellers on our list who averages 0.5 possessions a game. This is an interesting one. I feel like it benefits North in the short term, more than the long term, which is an odd approach for a side consistently in the bottom 4.
