Which of cunnington, reiwoldt, Goldstein, Mongtana and personally I thought atley was next but also NDS, Swallow and petrie were better.
Because they selwood and viney get loads more clearances, and CP's and shuey is far more damaging in that a lot of his passes are onto the chests of key forwards which Ziebell cant do. You cant get in the AA team with a disposal average of 23 as a mid unless you either have an elite kick or average 2 goals a game.

So with Shueys 6 kicks on the weekend how much damage did he do? How many chests did he hit? What does the stats tell you?
Atley was immense for you guys and he definitely played better. I thought Thompson also deserved a mention and Mongtana was great. Ziebell would have been about 8th maybe not even in norths top 5.
I'm not denying shuey had a bad game and it puts him out of the conversation for now however he got a hard tag, can you tell me the last time Ziebell had one of those?

Did I say that? I think that coaches can have favourites and Ziebell is obviously one of Scott's favourites as he isn't having as good a year as his CA votes suggests.
Tom Hawkins didn't get a single coaches vote last week against Gold Coast. Would you have had him in your top 5 players from that game (career high disposals, 4 goals and 140 ranking points)?

I'd have a few mids ahead of Rory Sloane and Ziebell at this point - Hannebery, Ward at bare minimum, Zaharakis, J.P.Kennedy also pushing their claims. Unfortunately Hannebery, Ward and Kennedy suffer from playing in teams surrounded by vote-stealing talent and Zaharakis is playing for the wooden spooners.
