Good team but swap Riewoldt and Pavlich and Brad Johnson with Steve Johnson.

Also I would include Ling in place of Sam Mitchell.

Too many Geelong players already ;) Plus Ling has been playing as a tagger. When he hasn't, Bartell and Ablett have had the opponents best tagger. Mitchell has had the best opposition tagger every week yet is still racking up the clearances. Foley would be the choice after Mitchell for me.

No way. He will be lucky to get a bench position.
He has still been very good this year.
He's only had a few quiet weeks but he will still be in there at this stage.
Open your eyes. Both of them.

Haha. There won't be more than 3 from a team.

Haha, there will be plenty of left over spots from Collingwood players who couldn't get in.
Is it just me, or did this post make no sense???

If there are plenty of left over spots, surely Collingwood players WILL get in?

I know I am going to be accused of bias but I can see Craig Bolton getting a spot on the bench as he has a good year and his second half of the year has been top notch.

He is not Scarlett or Glass but he is having another good year and a spot on the bench or Half Back Flank is not out of the realms of possibility.

Amazing game tonight against the Saints ey. I think he has a good chance to get in because he has been great but unfortunately there are a few too many others who could/should go ahead. Hope he gets in, like the bloke :thumbsu:

Roos

In for sure
Harvey
Mctonish
Firrito

chance
Smith
Jones
Petrie
Unfortunatly for FIrrito the stats are hugely against him, he has let in the most goals this year.

McIntosh might not make it, he has been fantastic but Cox might just get the job ahead of him, probably will be given a bench spot.

For Richmond:

Definate:
Foley

Chance:
J.Bowden

Foley should get on the bench, and Hamish will get the ruck position.

My All Australian team has been changing every week. Very tough year to select correctly. Here is mine for this week.

B: Sam Fisher - Matthew Scarlett - Jed Adcock
HB: Nick Malceski - Matthew Egan - Darren Milburn
C: Daniel Kerr - Jimmy Bartel - Nigel Lappin
HF: Steve Johnson - Jonathan Brown - Brent Harvey
F: Brad Johnson - Matthew Pavlich - Lance Franklin
R: Dean Cox - Gary Ablett - Chad Cornes
INT: Hamish McIntosh - Kane Cornes - Cameron Ling - Scott Thompson
EM: Tarkyn Lockyer - Nick Riewoldt - Nathan Foley

UNLUCKY: Luke Hodge - Sam Mitchell - Chris Judd - Joel Corey - Andrew Carrazzo

Issues: Probably a little bit too Geelong heavy. Although IMHO the best team I could come up with from my criteria of structure, form and positions played. Milburn could easily be swapped with Lockyer or McLeod and Ling's spot on the bench could also be taken by a gun midfielder. But they have both had amazing seasons. The other 5 clearly beat their challengers.

- When I first started making my team, I didn't think that Steve Johnson would make the cut due to him missing the first 5 games. But by the end of it, I had a free half forward flank with no obvious inclusion due to my "positions played" criteria. I narrowed it down to Johnson and Jones. Johnson has probably been a touch more consistent so he got the nod.

- I'm surprised that people aren't including Nigel Lappin in their teams. Yes, he did miss a few games early but since his return has not played a bad game. Been better than Black this year. Also leading the AFL in average disposals per game.

- Chad Cornes can't be named as Centre Half Back. He has rarely played that position all year and but has played well enough to be named a follower. Matthew Egan has been great at Centre Half Back this year. Beats his man week in week out and doesn't get cheap possessions. Deserves his spot.

Well that's my team. What do you all think? (Sensible comments please Hawk trolls.)

Mcintosh has not been the best ruckman in the league this year.

If anything he is in contention for a midfield spot, his ruckwork hasnt been better than cox ottens, etc.
