If he had a problem it was a quiet middle patch but once again was in our best. Will have polled in 11 out of 16 games on the Swans board POTY.

I'm not saying he should be in, he is borderline and last picked if so but I think he is getting forgotten in the Petrie/Kennedy/Riewoldt argument.

Why is there 5 KPD's in the backline? People whinge and moan about selecting a proper team - well what team plays with that many tall backs in the AFL?

Enright - selectors love incumbents and love high possession winners. I'd go for Gibson or Glass, but they won't get a look in.

LeCras - iffy selection, but he's kicking 2-3 goals a game and winning more of the ball compared to the past 2 seasons. On track for 300+ disposals and 40+ goals, and is an incumbent.

J Riewoldt - 2010 Coleman Medalist, leading the 2011 race. Unless Kennedy, Cloke and Franklin all pass him I can't see him missing out.

If the selectors go midfield heavy I'd expect to see Swan and/or S Thompson in in place of Riewoldt/LeCras and/or Enright/Davis.

Fisher and Scarlett play as rebounders now. Gwilt/Dawson and Lonergan/Taylor the keys.

Kennedy was only mid 40's, Petrie just out, so it's only a jump of about 7 places.

Obviously a player like Ben Johnson is far superior to Heath Scotland.
Same with Toovey and Gibson.

Gibsons going better than Maxwell, Tarrant and O'Brien this year, Scotland going better than Toovey, Ben Johnson, Rounds, McCarthy & Fasolo.

Looks great. The inclusion of S. Johnson still concerns me as I believe he is having a poor year. Apart from that no real concerns.

dont get why gibson is being talked up so much. got absoloutely murdered by Cloke and Podsiady when they played on him.

Scarlett, Fisher, Mcpharlin, Reid, Tarrant all ahead of him in key position posts, only 3 of those guys will be picked anyway.

If it's a huge issue then I'll take Gibson out and chuck Johncock/Enright in the pocket. As I said, I'm calling Fisher and Scarlett rebounders this year because they aren't playing key position roles. I'm liking Gibson's season a lot but he is clearly dividing opinion this year.

In regards to Johnson I agree but who else is there? Garlett, Goodes, Kennedy, Riewoldt?? Walker? It's just a case of the best of the rest. Same with Petrie in a way. Cloke and Franklin a fair way ahead of the next best true forward.
