I'm interested in this trios title storyline, Yuta is a champ but really doesn't want anything to do with Claudio and PAC.

If they can do 20,000 people in a market where they barely have TV, that's fantastic.
What did New Japan do? A thousand a show? What would TNA do? ROH?
The mistake is comparing them to WWE. It's not like AEW is the kind of thing fathers and daughters are going to. Its Not about selling toys and lunchboxes. It's a different product.
20,000 at a gig is a lot of people.
Still would be a stupid decision to have run it an Suncorp over a smaller venue if that's all they can manage.
The mistake is the stadium they chose. Embarrassing if they need to move it and embarrassing if they have a lot of empty seats

Na. Keep him as a heel as long as possible. It's been working great.
He's a chip on the shoulder type of personality, he's tapped into it. Wasn't a fan of his face run after he won the belt.
Tony (or the team responsible) have never been the ones to choose appropriate locations for respective markets. For all the reasons already mentioned, the ticket sales haven't been surprising (in context they aren't that bad, but as you said it's about stadium choice). AEW has always (not a bad thing) catered for the hardcore wrestling audience, but Tony will always do what Tony does.
Surely 20k on one side won't look too bad. WWE have done it with their stadium shows, so shouldn't really be a huge problem. The only issue IMO is the experience for the fans themselves would be infinitely better in a 20k under the roof arena.

Okada’s Continental Championship will also be on the line, but only for the first 20 minutes of the bout, as Continental title bouts have 20-minute time limits, while World title bouts have 60-minute time limits.

Suncorp would be one of the few Brisbane venues that have the logistical and production requirements that AEW needs, and Tourism and Events Qld would have written a cheque to help.
