A legend run there for a year would probably be nice for her. You can't really fault her AEW run - it was a bit mediocre, but she put people over and was an interesting personality, if not a good enough worker anymore.

Yeah, well past it - but the way her career finished with injury - deserved a short run and not have injury forced end be the final thing in her career.

While her matches weren't memorable, came in when the profile of the women's division was pretty low. Leaving it in a better place than she found it.

Gave Toni something to do before the Timeless gimmick kicked off and helped Harley along quite a bit. Signing definitely served its purpose.

People forget how critical that break up of the Outcasts was to Toni becoming Timeless. We should always hold Paige in high regard if only for that.

She's been open for a long time that she would like to go back to WWE. I'd hardly consider it grovelling.
And she's been nothing but complimentary of AEW and it's people.
Left WWE mainly due to a combination of her injuries, disagreeing with the creative under a certain caca obsessed billionaire, and because her brother had a better shot at getting signed with AEW than WWE.

Read weeks ago the intention was going to be BattleCry for weekly, and Final Fantasy inspired theme for PPVs.

I don’t think anyone would think that would they? It’s a pretty strong women’s division as is that’s gone past her and NXT probably have the best women’s division in the world at present? Certainly at the top end of the talent wise?

“Paige” would be fine in the Nikki Bella style one off rumble appearance and that’s about it.

If you’re talking about other signings and the “massive” gets surely you can say Penta has been a hit over there? Punk and Rhodes have been huge…

I think most talent switches in recent times has been a win for the respective companies. Aside from maybe a couple but Penta has been presented awesome, Starks and Spears have been good for NXT , Cargil comes across as a star presentation and on the flip side obviously Copeland, Danielson, Storm , Swerve have been awesome and even Ricochet has been a good move.
