Re: Scott Emberly wouldn't , would he ?

Anyone else thinks daisy is going to GWS. He still hasn't signed been so long. Obviously he won't admit it but I think he will be going... What's everyone else think
Nope, not a chance that Thomas is playing for GWS next year, or any time in the future.

He is staying at Collingwood, he has said so, his management have said so, and that is how it will be.

Dale Thomas will be at Collingwood next year, nothing is surer.

Anyone who thinks other wise doesn't understand that Thomas and his management are simply waiting for the CBA to be negotiated, so that they know exactly what they can get out of Collingwood.

Please, start talking about someone else, because Thomas ain't going anywhere, and this isn't wishful thinking, it's FACT.

Then what about the Other Players need to be Re-Signed like Dawes

Length of Daisy Negotiations of New Contract

Is it me or this seems to be taking Too-Long as we did get Swan and Pendles Re-Signed Quickly even if it was for 1 year like Pendles but Daisy just seems to going on and on.

This Hurts us trying to re-sign other players like Chris Dawes and If he does not get an offer then he might just go in the National or Pre-Season Draft as he would not have a Contract with us.

Also I am really starting to think Daisy is Off to GWS:( even if the Club is saying he will sign I am not a 100% Confident

Re: Length of Daisy Negotiations of New Contract

Yep. Totally agree. Don't know whats happening with Daisy. I really hope he does stick around, however, this lengthy contract discussion is a bit sus.

Is it Collingwoods fault, or is it Daisys?

I Think it's Daisy Manger Paul Conners as he always seems to be overseas:rolleyes:

Re: Length of Daisy Negotiations of New Contract

Seriously, WTF?!?!

Can we close this thread please?

It will take as long as it needs to be sorted out for all parties involved.

Dawes has already said he ain't leaving, so why rush?

Thomas will be staying.

Nick Davis said before he left he would stay

Re: Length of Daisy Negotiations of New Contract

They should just sit down, lock themselves in a room for a day and nut this shit out.

If they don't, it's just ridiculous to let it go on any longer if he is going to sign.

If he's not, let's get it out there and get rid of him :(

But .... don't leave Daisy! :D

Re: Length of Daisy Negotiations of New Contract

Integral to our future and development of younger players, has to stay on if we want to create more history, become one of our most crucial players.

Re: Length of Daisy Negotiations of New Contract

It was supose to be sorted out mid season, finals are just a month away now and he still hasnt signed. It doesnt look good but Id rather him not come out if he has decided to leave becuase it could make things awkward for the finals and we need him to play. I think the longer it goes the less chance we have of him staying at the club. If he signs then he can piss off, I dont want players at Collingwood who havnt got 100% commitment. There are plenty of good players coming out of contract next year that we could get through free agency like Goddard and Deledio. Its not the end of the world if he leaves.

Re: Length of Daisy Negotiations of New Contract

I reckon Daisy will sign back on with us and it'll be announced pre-finals.

If he chooses to leave Collingwood, then so be it..the world will keep spinning.

I'd be sad, I hope he doesn't go, but his choice.

We'd be pretty well reimbursed and prob get two young guns via draft or trade of draft picks eg Vince, O'Meara type players.

Don't stress, 95% he'll stay, but we'll be OK either way.

I'll wish him well whatever he decides, because he seems such an admirable young man and amazingly hard working, talented and courageous footballer.

100% agree with this.:thumbsu:

Re: Length of Daisy Negotiations of New Contract

Davis iirc wanted to return home to Sydney though.

Very different circumstances. We also weren't the powerhouse back then that we are now.

Nick Davis is not the same kind of person as Daisy. Daisy has more moral fibre in his little finger nail than Davis had in his entire body.
