I'll join the chorus on this. Tunbridge just seems incapable of grabbing an opportunity when it's there to step up.

Destined to play solid WAFL footy forever, wish we delisted him last year and moved on.

It would be more accurate to say he gets injured every time he gets an opportunity. He has three Afl games to his name as well as this exhibition match.

I think he will probably be delisted at the end of the year but this board is a great demonstration of how much the average footy fan hates project players

Hate is a bit strong. I don't think anybody hates him. How is/was he a project player?

He's a big framed guy who's been playing/developing the same inside midfielder role for the past 18 months at least. That's disregarding his previous development before being earmarked for that role, and his time spent on the GWS list. If he was light framed, or being groomed for a special position in the team long term (ie a ruck or KPP) i'd consider him a project player. But physically he's probably the most imposing midfielder/forward we have.

His 3 games have been lacklustre to say the least, the highlight being his memorable tackle and goal vs the crows at the end of 2013, but he's never had more than 9 touches in a game. Looks a fair way off stepping up from WAFL to AFL level.

RoJo is a project and we're liking him.

Tunbridge is the very definition of a list clogger.

I remember last year Jamie Bennell got elevated to first 22 on the back of some very ho-hum pre-season form where he wasn't particularly outstanding but was obviously doing something that the coaches liked.

Pre-season form isn't everything guys, some players need three or four games to get the cobwebs blown out, others drift in and out; let's see how Tunbridge goes in proper footy before jumping off him.

I probably spent too much time in the can bar to be considered a good judge, but I thought the following were good:

Wellingham
Gaff
Sinclair
Cripps

I thought Tunbridge was pretty crap.

Brophy showed promise.

Masten was decent.

And I think I missed a lot, so easily could have been good performers that I didn't note.

There was a CAN BAR??!!. Christ almighty you lucky bastards. I dream of enjoying a cold can while enjoying the artistry of Shaun Burgoyne. I"ll have to wait and hope he goes back and plays a bit of local footy after his AFL days are over.

At least it wasn't as bad as J.Hill's shot right in front and missed. I think it was in the first. Never really saw him after that...
MATCH FIXING!

Player development is about more than just ones frame, their game needs to be developed. Tunbridge was a utility who has only really been earmarked as a third tall forward cum midfielder over the last year or so. To me he is a classic example of a project player.

He is a confidence player who whenever he develops some momentum in the wafl he gets injured. Im in no way denying its time for him to show something but to say he has been afforded every opportunity and has failed is a bit of a stretch.

Very true.

Sinclair did an ankle and was iced up - not sure on seriousness.

Loved RoPo's last term. 3 times he was involved across half back and covered the ground exceptionally well to be involved up forward in the next play. Was BoG in that last term for mine.

Had the binos on the clearances and Waterman was impressive in that last term as well.

Happened to see Sinclair getting subway after the game, was walking with a slight limp but didn't look to have his ankle strapped up...

Thoughts on Karpany? Another Weedon or legitimate prospect?

$6 full strength beers with no line, and no line for the toilets.
