Averaging just 78 points per game this year. Is now valued at around 411k, with a BE of 166. He is about to become a 300k player.

Anyone who regularly watches Hawthorn play know whats going on? He has fallen so much in price you couldnt possibly trade him out. Or could you?

This is worse than the Broughton dlimemma...

As stated above, his draw suggests keep. However, team performance doesn't seem to affect his score that much, it depends how good they key defender is.

I hate all you non Buddy owners who gets to bring him super cheap next week for his next few easy run of games..

I didnt start with him, but was annoyed how seeminglt easy he seemed to be scoring without kicking big bags of goals. So I decide to reluctantly trade out Bartel just before his game vs North as I would be bordering on suicidal if he pumps out a monster score... and we all know what happens after that. Yep Im ready to cop the blame here, sorry guys.

Annoying thing is I couldnt watch his game tonight and only heard he kicked 3 goals in the first half so was relieved and thought he finally pulled his finger out..

I started with him thought the extra cash would be worth it for some consistency. Not sure what his BE is but for those looking to get him in I'd wait and see how he does this week.

I think he is around 150ish break even.

The key for me is will he get 110 against GWS?

If so 411k is worth it as he is 100k cheaper now compared to beginning with him. If not 110 then I not sure.

My dilemma is I only want 1 forward upgrade in the next 7-8 weeks with Gray hopefully holding down F6 until later in season. And Byrnes has to go NOW!!!!!

But yes I will be waiting one week.
He won't hit his B/E and i want to actually see some decent form.

Another 50 odd and a price plummet
or
An 80+ slight price drop but showing he at least remembers how to score.


Even at like 350 odd three 50's in a row is something you can't ignore can you?

top 500 and gotta take a risk to try and make the jump up the board to top 100 or so. Thinking top teams won't have Buddy (as he has been so poor) Hoping the top 300 think that he is so badly out of form they wont take him.

The real question for most people, (read: me), is to take the risk and grab Buddy this week and keep the Port bunnies in the backline for another week. Or pick Buddy up next week, for lower $$$, and fix the backline now...

I've be mulling this over all weekend. Would think he would maul GWS this week with the Hawks to dominate out of the guts, and all over the ground in general. We saw what a pretty average (no offense) forward in Lynch did to them this week..
